Выхлопной клапан после хода выхлопа не закрываетс , а остаетс  от крытым в течение всего хода всасывани  и закрываетс  одновременно с всасывающим клапаном. Вместе с тем холодный воздух, поступа  из атмосферы через выхлопной клапан, охлаждает его.
