Due to the large specific volumes of water vapor and water, as compared to liquid metal, the driving propulsion pressure for the liquid metal part of the system is determined practically by producing the specific weight of liquid metal gall by its height. For example, when the height of the circulation loop is 30 m for an alloy of lead and bismuth, the driving head of the circulation is 30 atm. To implement the proposed method, it is possible to design the system so that 20–25% of the driving head of circulation was spent on overcoming the resistances of the elements of the circulation system, and 75–80% (i.e. 22-24 ATA) were applied directly to the cooled lance, which will ensure the required speed of the metal coolant in the cooled tuyere cavities and thereby the desired temperature regime of its walls. The drawing shows a scheme for cooling the lance to purge the metal with oxygen. From the cyclone separator 1 A pipe 2 through a siphon 3 to the cooled pump 4 is supplied with a liquid metal heat transfer medium at a temperature of 125 ° C, which is a eutectic alloy of lead and bismuth. The temperature of the outer surface of the tuyere. After passing the tuyere, the temperature of the liquid metal coolant was 450 ° C. The coolant is directed through the siphon 5 through pipe 6 to the mixer-ejector 7, into which from the separator drum 8 through the feed pipe 9 with the help of a feed pump 10 and pipe 11 serves deaerated water with a temperature of 150 ° C and pressure 5 at. By mixing the deaerated water with the coolant, a three-phase system (steam-water-liquid metal) is formed in the system, 80% of the supplied de-aerated water being converted into steam. The pressure in the ejector mixer is 10.5 atm. Due to the intense vaporization in the mixer and the ejection effect of the jet of de-aerated water, the metal of the heat transfer medium is crushed into small droplets, which behave like solid particles in the steam flow. The resulting three-phase mixture (steam-liquid metal) is fed to lifting pipe 12 into cyclone-separator 1. The degree of steam dryness at the inlet to cyclone-separator 1 is maintained within the limits of 0.001-0.99. Deaerated water at the same time has a temperature that prevents solidification of metal in the evaporative cooling system. The height of the circulation circuit of the liquid metal coolant is 3.0 m and the pressure along the height of the circuit varies quite significantly, and at the level of the ejector mixer 7 it is much greater than the magnitude of the pressure at the top of the system. This leads to the fact that at the level of the ejector mixer 7, the temperature of the three-phase system is higher than in the cyclone-separator 1. The specific volume of saturated steam in this area is less due to the increased pressure than at the top of the system. As the three-phase mixture rises along the riser 12, further evaporation of water occurs due to a drop in pressure and when entering the cyclone separator 1, where the pressure is close to the pressure value in the drum separator 8 and is 5 atm, the temperature of the three-phase mixture is determined by this pressure and is 179 C. In the cyclone-separator 1, the three-phase mixture is separated into steam, water and liquid metal. Steam and water, respectively, through the bypass pipes 13 and 14 enter the drum separator 8 of the evaporative cooling system, and the liquid metal coolant goes to the standpipe 2. When using the proposed method, the liquid metal pressures are twice or more than the pump pressure for pumping liquid metals, which will allow provide the necessary speed of liquid metal coolant in the gaps of the cooled part. This is especially important when cooling the tuyeres for deep metal purging. The lack of heat exchangers for cooling the liquid metal greatly simplifies the design of the cooling system. When elements are cooled by the proposed method, an inert gas system is not used to prevent oxidation of the liquid metal / H1 heat carrier that is in contact only with water and steam, and oxygen (air) is excluded. Claims The method of cooling elements of metallurgical furnaces, including the circulation of liquid metal coolant in a closed. circuit, characterized in that, in order to improve heat transfer, deaerated water is introduced into the liquid metal coolant at a temperature of 1-30% C higher than the melting point of the liquid metal coolant.
