На вертикальный вал 3 ветр ка насажено колесо 1, снабженное лопаст ми 2. Вал 3 упираетс  внизу в подп тник 26, установленный на перекладине 30, а в верхней части конусом 27 в перекладину 28, котора  посредством болтов 29 укреплена к основанию 31. Вал 3 вращаетс  в шариковом подшипнике и закрыт колпаком 5, который вращаетс  на шариках и соединен в верхней части с рулем 7 дл  установки по ветру, а в нижней с полуцилиндрическим щитом б (направление ветра указываетс  поворотной стрелкой 40). Руль 7 может , следовательно, вместе с щитом б вращатьс  независимо от вращени  вала 3 с лопастным колесом 1 и иметь посто нно определенное положение, в зависимости от направлени  ветра. Полуцилиндрический щит б защищает лопасти 2 от давлени  ветра на их наклонные поверхности , направленные против ветра. Давление ветра указано стрелками 32, 33 и 34.
