Description
The proposed gas-cooler is intended to replace the so-called hot tower and refrigerators in the English condensation system to absorb hydrogen chloride, which results in: 1) significant savings in the cost of fixed capital for the construction of the tower and refrigerators, 2) facilitating and cheapening repairs to the condensing unit and 3) simplified care of the process.
In the English condensation system, hydrochloric gas is absorbed by water flowing through two andesitic or sandstone towers filled with coke. The first tower into which the gas enters is called the "hot tower," and the second into which the gas that has not yet been absorbed is called "cold". In addition, since hydrogen chloride is absorbed with the release of heat, and yet further absorption by hot water or weak hydrochloric acid is very difficult, it is necessary to have special coolers for the passage of gas and acid.
The proposed gas turbine hologilnik simultaneously gasifies the gas by: absorbed acid, and those are cooled by water.
His job is as follows. Gases leaving the sulphate furnace. ; they first enter into the washing: a tower for separating sulphate I dust and free sulfuric acid and then passing through the assembly tower into an oxygen gas tower, which is irrigated with cold water throughout its duration I. Gases from the tower assembly go to the cold tower, and towards them from the cold tower weak hydrochloric acid flows, which is saturated with hydrochloric gas, while the scientific research institute is cooled to 18-20 Vy. Non-absorbed gases pass into the cold tower, where I are already completely absorbed by the water I am flowing towards them. Finally, gases, i with only traces of hydrogen chloride, I pass through the tower. Trap I into the chimney boroz. The purpose of a coke-filled I trap is to retard vapors and droplets of weak hydrochloric acid mechanically entrained in a gas stream from a cold tower.
