Abstract
The invention relates to methods for producing coatings and may be used in the corrosion protection of steel pipes. The invention allows to increase the adhesion of the coating due to the heating of the pipe at 850-950 ° C for 1-5 minutes in the environment of hydrogen and nitrogen (75:25), followed by cooling in this environment to 180-230 ° C. Polyethylene coating on the heated product is glued with glue from ethylene copolymer with ethyl acrylate. 1 tab.
Description
The invention relates to corrosion protection and can be used in the metalworking, petroleum, metallurgical and other sectors of the industry, in particular to protect pipes from corrosion.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the adhesion of the coating.
Example. Samples of 50x50x3 mm tubular steel (5 pieces for each variant, 14 variants) after degreasing and mechanical surface treatment are placed in a two-chamber through-furnace with reducing atmosphere of composition: H2 - 75%, Na - 25%, heating the metal to 850- 950 C and holding at this temperature for 1-5 minutes in the first chamber, cooling in the second chamber to 180-230 ° С. At the exit from the furnace, a sample is successively applied to an adhesive layer — a film of ethylene copolymer with acrylics of the brand Lupolen 2910 MX from BASF (Germany) —and a polyethylene film of the brand 153-14 (GOST 16337-77). In parallel, the coating is carried out by a known method, heating the metal in air. Coating modes are shown in the table.
The effectiveness of the method is evaluated by the amount of adhesion strength after exposure of the samples coated in water at 20 ± 5 ° C for 250 h according to the requirements of TU 14-3-1050-81 on the polyethylene pipe coating. Adhesive strength is determined by the method of normal detachment, measuring the force (kgf / cm), causing peeling of the coating from the substrate.
The test results are shown in the table.
