The invention relates to welding technology and can be used to control the wear of the working surface of the electrodes during resistance spot welding. The purpose of the invention is to simplify the monitoring of the degree of wear of the working surface of electrodes of various diameters and increase its accuracy. Make a control sample of two plates, one of which is resiliently deformable. Compress the plates until they are in contact with the electrodes. To determine the volume change between the plates in the state of their contact, an additional chamber with an adjustable volume is used, the value of which is set in accordance with the size of the working surface of the monitored electrode. The chamber is connected to the cavity between the plates and the degree of wear of the electrodes is judged by the change in its volume. 1 il.

Description

№ 1349927.The invention relates to welding, in particular to monitoring the parameters of the welding process, can be used in monitoring the wear of the working surface of the welding electrodes of contact point machines and is additional to the main auth. No. 1349927.

The purpose of the invention is to simplify the monitoring of the degree of wear of the working surface of the electrodes of different diameters.

The drawing shows a scheme for implementing the method.

5.The control sample is made of two plates 1 and 2 hermetically connected along the perimeter, one of which (1) is made of an elastically deformable material, with the formation of cavity 3, which is connected to the adjustable cavity 4 of chamber 5.

4.The volume of the additional cavity 4 is regulated, for example, by the piston 6 of the cylinder 7 in accordance with the size of the working surface of the monitored electrode. For this purpose, the volume of the additional cavity 4 is set on a pre-graduated scale printed on the cylinder body 7.

10.The wall 8 of the chamber 5 is made of rubber, but less rigid than the elastically deformable material of the plate 1. On the wall 8 there is a contact 9 that is installed with the possibility of interaction with the signal circuit 10.

The control sample is crimped with electrodes (not shown), with the plate 1 being pressed with a controlled electrode until the plates 1 and 2 are in contact with each other.
