Abstract
The invention relates to corrosion testing of materials in liquid and gaseous media under the influence of ionizing radiation at elevated temperatures. The aim of the invention is to simplify the method for corrosion tests in the nuclear reactor channel. In the test chamber 1 with double evacuated walls, containing a sealing assembly 2, a reflux condenser 3 with a liquid 4 at a given boiling point, and a swivel holder 5, cassettes with samples 6 are placed. Due to the radiation heating of the samples and parts of the chamber, the temperature inside the chamber rises to the boiling point of the liquid. Samples maintain a specified time in the chamber and determine their parameters. The test chamber is provided with a fitting 7 with a stopcock that allows it to be filled with a gaseous medium at elevated pressure. 1 il.
Description
The invention relates to corrosion testing of materials in liquid and gaseous media under the influence of ionizing radiation in conditions of high temperatures.
The purpose of the invention is to simplify the method during corrosion tests in the nuclear reactor channel.
The drawing shows a diagram of the device for carrying out the proposed method.
The method is carried out as follows.
In the double-walled test chamber 1, the gap between which is evacuated for thermal insulation, contains a sealing unit 2 in which the reflux condenser 3c with fins is placed, partially filled with liquid 4c at a given temperature: boiling, and swivel holder 5c: nests for sample cassettes test samples 6. Test chamber 1 is placed in a field of 8 or, or p / V radiation. Due to radiation self-heating of test environment samples and construction materials
When the boiling point of liquid 4 in the reflux condenser (freon-113, alcohol, water, etc.) is reached, they begin to evaporate and condense in the cold part of the reflux condenser 3 and flow down the walls, maintaining the temperature extractor chamber 1, equal to the boiling point of liquid 4, which allows to simplify the method during the corrosion
испытани х в канале дерного реактор и в поле гамма-источника.tests in the nuclear reactor channel and in the gamma source field.
The test chamber 1 is also provided with a fitting 7 with a shut-off valve that allows filling it with a test gas medium at elevated pressure.
The method allows to carry out corrosion tests in liquid and gas environments at elevated temperatures and pressures, does not require additional heating of the medium, allows testing remotely using manipulators, which increases safety when working with ionizing radiation sources.
