Description
The invention relates to methods for the preparation of sorbents for the purification of ammonia from wastewater and can be used in the purification of urban industrial and agricultural wastewater.
The aim of the invention is to increase the sorption capacity of the sorbent with respect to ammonia,
1,0-1,5%.The chemical composition of burned molding earth is close to silica gel. The main component of the earth, like silica gel, is SiOz 95-97%, the rest are oxides of alkali and alkaline earth metals (, CaO, MgC, KAO) 2.0-2.5% and iron oxide 1.0-1 ,five%.
1:3-4.To implement the method, the modification of burned molding earth is carried out as follows. For 1 h, the earth is kept in a water bath of 0.05-0.10 n. hydrofluoric acid solution, after which it is washed with water to a residual fluoride ion content in water mol / l. The earth is then boiled for 1 hour in an 8-10% solution of caustic soda. After that, the ground is washed with water until the pH of the water is 8-9. The ratio of solid and liquid phases when treating the earth with acid and alkali is T: W 1: 3-4.
An increase in the concentration of HF (above 0.10 N.) leads to a decrease in the sorption capacity of the burned earth.

A further increase in the alkalinity of the solution during processing also leads to a decrease in the sorption capacity of the burned earth with respect to ammonia. Reducing the concentration of both acid and alkali in the modification leads to a deterioration in the treatment of waste water from ammonia. The optimal phase ratio is found to be. By reducing this ratio, no noticeable modification of the waste occurs. An increase in the proportion of acid or alkali in the course of processing slightly changes the sorption capacity of the earth with respect to ammonia in comparison with the optimum ratio.
Если врем обработки отхода менее 1 ч, то его сорбционна способность мало отличаетс от немодифицированного сырь .If the indicated concentrations of acid and alkali are observed, as well as the ratio of solid and liquid phases, the treatment time with acid and alkali is 1.0-1.5 hours. An increase in processing time (more than 1.5 hours) does not affect the sorption capacity. land. If the processing time of the waste is less than 1 hour, then its sorption capacity differs little from unmodified raw material.
1.The results of purification of nitrogen from ammonia with its initial content of 15.3 mg / l (sorbent consumption 30 mg / l, contact time 8 hours, pH 7.25 are presented in Table. 1.
SEWAGE WATER TREATMENT USING -
The sorbent is carried out as follows. To 100 ml of wastewater after biological treatment with stirring add modified burned earth in the amount of 20-30 g / l. The ground in contact with water is kept for 6-8 hours. After settling, the water is separated from the sorbent and analyzed for the content of ammonia,
7,25.For example, for cleaning, wastewater is taken from municipal wastewater treatment plants after biological treatment, which has the following quality indicators: COD (chemical oxygen consumption) 85 mg / l, MIC (biological oxygen consumption 12 mg / l, ammonia and ammonium ions 15.3 mg / l, phosphates (in terms of Pr05, 2.9 mg / l, surfactant 0.16 mg / l, hardness 16.4 mg eq / l, including calcium 8.7 and magnesium 7.8 mg eq / l, alkalinity of 3.6 mEq / pH 7.25.
In tab. 2 and 3 are comparative data on the effect of wastewater treatment from ammonia and ammonium ions, depending on the consumption of the sorbent and the time of its contact with the waste water,
Presented in table. 2 and 3, the data show that the optimal conditions for the purification of wastewater from ammonia are the consumption of a sorbent of 20-30 g / l with a time of contact of the sorbent with the waste water of at least 6 hours.
In tab. 4 shows data on. treatment of wastewater, past biological treatment, from ammonia burned molding the earth, modified in various ways, in comparison with the known method.
Given in Table. 4, the data show that the sorption capacity of the burned earth with respect to ammonia and ammonium ions depends on how it is modified. 90% of the degree of purification of wastewater from ammonia is achieved using burned molding earth, hydrofluoric acid, modified sequentially, and then alkali.
The known method also provides a 90% degree of purification. However, in the known method such a degree of purification is achieved at a silica gel consumption of 530 g / l, in the proposed method at a ground consumption of 30 g / l, which is 17.6 times less.
8,0.After cleaning by the proposed method, water has the following quality indicators: COD 38 mg / l, MIC 5 mg / l, surfactant 0.07 mg / l, phosphates (in terms of.) Are absent, alkalinity 2.8 mg / l, hardness 5, 2 mEq / l, incl. Calcium 3.2 mEq / L, Mg 2.0 mEq / L, pH 8.0.
Таким образом, предлагаемый способ позвол ет сократить расход сорбента дл очистки сточных вод от аммиака и получить воду по качеству, пригодную дл технического водоснабжени .Thus, the proposed method allows to reduce the consumption of sorbent for purification of wastewater from ammonia and to obtain water of quality suitable for technical water supply.
The application of the method will allow to replace silica gel - one of the valuable products of the silicate industry, with burnt molding earth, which is a waste of metallurgical production.
