The electronic phase meter operates in the following manner.
The voltages under study (fig. 2a, b are converted by limiting amplifiers 4 and 5 (comparators 521CA4) into rectangular (fig. 2c, d) and inverse rectangular (fig. 2e, f) pulses that arrive at phase detectors 6 and 7 with memorization of the sign, performing the function of converting phase shifts between rectangular pulses to pulse duration, as well as the distribution of pulses corresponding to phase shifts, across channels (FIG. 2, F, G, K). 11 нижних частот, выдел ющий посто нн по составл ющую (фиг.2 м) последовательности импульсов , величина которой не зависит от ухода нулевой линии в усилител х- ограничител х .of whom, respectively, are the pulses coming from the first outputs of the phase detectors 6 and 7 (fig.2j, i), and the pulses from the second outputs of the phase detectors 6 and 7 (fig.2 3, k). Pulses (Fig. 2L), formed at the outputs of the elements OR 8 and 9, carrying information about the phase shift between the voltages under study, are fed to the subtractor 10 and then to the filter. 11 low frequency, which distinguishes a constant in the component (Fig. 2 m) of the pulse sequence, the magnitude of which does not depend on the zero-line drift in the amplifier x-limiters.
В электронном фазометре повышение точности по сравнению с базовым объектом (прототипом ) достигаетс за счет сложени или вычитани амплитуд импульсов, соответствующих по длительности сдвигу фаз между ис- следуегмыми сигналами, подаваемыми на один из входов вычитател , и сигналом , подводимым к второму входу вычитател .In an electronic phase meter, an increase in accuracy compared with the base object (prototype) is achieved by adding or subtracting the amplitudes of the pulses corresponding in duration to the phase shift between the test signals sent to one of the inputs of the subtractor and the signal supplied to the second input of the subtractor.
An electronic phase meter allows measurement of the phase shift from an independent measurement. It does not depend, say, on the departure of the zero lines in the amplifiers of the x-limiters, due to the full-wave formation of the phase intervals.
