Description

Known methods of pelletizing of small iron ores and concentrates on belt-type sintering machines. One of the disadvantages of the known hardening methods is the incomplete use of fuel during calcination.

In the described method, this disadvantage is eliminated by the fact that the calcination is carried out at a four-zone thermal process.

300-400°.The essence of the described method is that the concentrate, containing 59-65% iron and moistened to 10-10.5 i / o, is crushed to 200 mesh and served along with the components (bentonite, crushed to + 0.5 mm, coal, moistened to) on the belt sintering machine. Calcination is performed at a four-zone thermal process with the following temperature distribution: pellet drying zone with gas temperature up to 500 °; zone of heating and ignition of fuel with a temperature of 800-1100 °, separated from the drying zone by a fire-resistant partition. Temperature is created by burning gases or liquid fuels; Pellet firing zone, with temperature up to 1300 °; cooling zone of pellets with a temperature of 300-400 °.

Subject invention

300- -400°.The method of calcining iron concentrate pellets on belt-type sintering machines, characterized in that, in order to make fuller use of the fuel, the calcination is carried out in a four-zone heat process with the following temperature distribution over zones: a drying zone with a temperature of up to 500 °, a zone of heating and ignition of fuel with a temperature of 800-1100 °, a burning zone with a temperature of up to 1300 ° and a cooling zone of pellets with a temperature of 300-400 °.
