1 The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to steel cladding molds used for casting ingots by siphon method. The purpose of the invention is to increase the life of the mold by reducing the warping of its walls while maintaining its low metal intensity. FIG. Figure 1 shows the molds of a straight view, section; in fig. 2 - the same, top view. The mold has walls 1 with a maximum value of concavity 2, the inner bottom part 3 and the outer bottom part 4 of the formulas 1. It has been established that if there is a concavity on the inner surface of the walls that makes up 70-80% of the total wall area and the maximum value of the concavity of 0.05-0.15 wall thickness, along the axis in the deep mold molds for casting ingots by siphon, such a type of defect as warping and intense heat of the walls in the area of the bottom part and ingot inging is practically eliminated; It is impractical to make the concavity less than 0.05 of the wall thickness, since in this case the effect of such concavity on the warping and the height of the walls, as well as the seizure of the ingots, is not felt. Increasing the amount of concavity in excess of 0.15 wall thickness cannot be, since in this case the ingot loses stability during rolling. The maximum value of the concavity should be at a distance of not less than 0.4 of the total height, since otherwise this leads to a decrease in the quality of the ingot. Raising the maximum value above 0.6 to the height of the mold is impractical, since in this case the effect of the convexity on the warping and the height of the walls is not noticeable. Beginning should be a concavity from a distance of 0.08 from the inner bottom part. It is impractical to lower below, since this leads to a deterioration in the quality of the ingot due to the disturbance of heat exchange between the bottom part of the ingot and the mold. Raising the beginning of the concavity to a height of 0. 2 tons greater than 0.15 from the inner bottom is also impractical due to the absence of the effect of the concavity on the shaping of the walls and the sticking of the ingots. Increasing the area of the concavity above 80% cannot be done, since otherwise it will be necessary to lower the beginning of the concavity below 0.08 of height from the inner bottom part or the concavity of the walls will approach as close as possible to the angular part of the mold and ingot. In this case, the heat exchange between the bottom part of the ingot and the mold will be disturbed, as well as between the corner part and the walls of the ingot and the mold, which results in cracks on the ingots in the bottom area and at the corners. It is impractical to make the area of the concavity less than 70%, since in this case it is necessary to change the dimensions of the beginning of the concavity and the height of its maximum value in the direction of decreasing. In this case, the concavity has practically no effect on the shaping of the walls of the ingots. Thus, the use of the proposed shape of the concavity of the walls makes it possible to significantly reduce the rejection of molds due to irreversible shaping and the height of the walls, virtually eliminating the cases of ingot ingots and their ingress into the heating wells at low temperatures. After preparation for casting, the molds on the composition are fed under the casting into the steel-smelting shop, where they are filled with steel by the siphon method. After a predetermined time, the ingot is removed from the mold and, after cooling, is fed again to the workshop to prepare for the next cast. The application of the invention increases the thermal and mechanical resistance of the molds for casting ingots of steel to siphon by reducing the irreversible shaping of the walls, while virtually no ingots are stuck due to seizure by the walls of the mold.
