Description
1.1 The invention relates to non-destructive control and can be used for ultrasonic monitoring of the development of through holes in dielectric objects during their operation. A known method for non-destructive testing of materials} concludes that in a controlled product, elastic oscillations are excited, the parameters of these oscillations are measured and these parameters are judged on the defectiveness of the product Cl. However, this method does not allow controlling large products made of multilayer composites and filled fluid. The closest to the invention in technical essence and the achieved result is a method of non-destructive testing of dielectric materials, which consists of placing the plastics of a capacitor on the outer and inner surfaces of the product, measuring its capacitance, and determining the capacity of the capacitance C2J. SCS however, the known method renders unsuitable for controlling the development of an already discovered crack for a long time. The aim of the invention is to provide control over the development of a through crack. i This goal is achieved by the fact that, according to the method of non-destructive testing of dielectric materials, it lies in the fact that a capacitor plate is placed on the outer and inner surfaces of the product, its capacitance is measured, and the defectiveness of the product is periodically excited by this capacity placed on the outer surface of the product, meas. The frequency and the decrement of these vibrations are measured and the development of a through-crack is determined from them. Figures 1 and 2 show the dynamics of the change in the shape of the through crack in Figs. 3 and 4, the shape and dimensions of the through cracks most often encountered in practice; 3 and 6 are graphs of the dependence of the decrement and frequency of oscillations on the sizes of defects. Plates 3 and 4 are glued to the through crack 1 in material 2, which form a capacitor. .. 2 The method of non-destructive testing of dielectric materials is carried out as follows. In place of the detected through crack 1 in a shape close to a cylinder or a funnel-shaped, on the outer and inner sides of the dielectric material under study 2. in the form of a monolith or a multi-layer composite, plates 3 and 4 are glued, which form the working capacitor. The shape and dimensions of plates 3 and 4 are consistent with the shape and dimensions of the crack. Yew, the thickness of the material under study is 2 at the location of crack 1. Moreover, if crack 1 is close to the circumference in shape (plate 3), the plates 3 and 4 should be made round and dimensions should be determined from the ratios) (1.8-2.0) D, 2) 2.5 s3 B - the diameter of the plates 3 and 4, D - the diameter of the through crack 1 S - the thickness of the material under study 2. If the through crack 1 according to the shape (in cross section) is not close to a circle, plates 3 and 4 should be made elliptical, and their sizes should be determined from the ratios a (1.6-2.0) a, B (2.0-2.5) b, 5c where a, b, are the magnitudes of the major and minor axes of the ellipsoidal plates 3 and 4 a, c is the length and width of the through crack 1. If there are several through: there are several cracks pairs of plates 3 and 4 for multi-point control. In accordance with the proposed method, a similar additional capacitor is also installed in the place of the material under study of the same length, where there is no through-crack. First, the capacity of the working capacitor formed by the plates 3 and 4 is measured. Then, the own elastic oscillations of the plate 3 are excited either with the help of a vibrating striker or with the help of a modulated air jet. For the convenience of detecting damped oscillations, they are excited periodically, at sufficient intervals for complete attenuation . The frequency and the decrement of these oscillations are measured. The capacitance of the created capacitor, the frequency of the natural oscillations of the outer plate, and the decrement of these oscillations depend on the state of the crack. Thus, as the crack size increases, the capacitor capacitance decreases due to the fact that the dielectric constant of air is lower than that of polymeric or other dielectric materials. With an increase in the area of the through crack, the frequency of natural oscillations of the plate that covers the crack also decreases (the rest of the plate is glued to the object and serves as a seal for the oscillating part).
Due to the large damping properties of the larger cavity and due to the greater radiation of the increased area of the second plate with the growth of the through crack
After a certain time (operation, transportation, storage, etc.), the capacitor capacitance measurement, the frequency and the decrement of natural elastic oscillations of the plate 3 are repeated, and the change in the size of its 1st crack is measured by changing the set of measured parameters.
Способ неразрушающего контрол диэлектрических материалов позвол ет проводить контроль за развитием йквозной трещины с высокой степенью достоверности за счет совокупного измерени емкости конденсатора, образованного расположенными на обеих сторонах издели пластинами, и частоты и декремента одной из этих пластин .The method of non-destructive testing of dielectric materials allows one to monitor the development of an open-hole crack with a high degree of confidence due to the cumulative measurement of the capacitance of a capacitor formed by plates located on both sides of the product and the frequency and decrement of one of these plates.
