The invention relates to the monitoring of the leaktightness of products by an acoustic method and allows for improving the information content by determining the size of the leak. Place the gas filled product into the liquid. Gas bubbles escaping through leakages in the product are fixed by acoustic oscillations. Record the attenuation of acoustic oscillations. Change the frequency of acoustic oscillations. Fix the frequency at which the attenuation is maximum. From the magnitude of this frequency, the bubble size is determined using the Minert ratio, from which the equivalent diameter of the leak is determined.
Description
This invention relates to the monitoring of the leaktightness of products under excessive gas pressure using an acoustic method.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the information content by determining the size of the leak.
The method of testing products for tightness is carried out as follows.
е. The test product is sealed, through the inlet create an overpressure in it. Immerse the product in a liquid so that a liquid layer is above the product. For example, water is used as a liquid. In the volume of liquid on the surface of the product, a beam of continuous acoustic oscillations is created with an ultrasonic transducer from the UD-11UA flaw detector kit. driven by a generator of sinusoidal oscillations. Acoustic vibrations are recorded from an emitter transducer using an ultrasonic transducer transducer (the transducers may be the same) located along the radiation axis of the emitter. Acoustic oscillations from the emitter are converted by the receiver into electrical signals that are recorded by an amplifier, such as US-29. The emitter-receiver system can move over the surface of the product. If there is no leakage in the product, the signal on the amplifier is constant. The appearance of a leak is accompanied by gas bubbles rising in the liquid to the surface. When the bubble passes through the zone of the beam of acoustic oscillations, the latter decay due to scattering and reflection. A decrease in the signal will be registered on the amplifier, i.e. damping
The attenuation of the acoustic signal is maximum at the resonant frequency of the air bubble fjj, which agrees "L

When the attenuation of the signal at the receiver is fixed (the fact that there are puzzles in the liquid, i.e. leaks in the product), the oscillation frequency at the radiator is changed by changing the generator frequency.
При зтом в качестве величины fp используют зафиксированную частоту .Fix the oscillation frequency at which the attenuation is maximum. Using the relation (1), taking into account the physical properties of the liquid and gas, the size of the bubbles (bubble radius - a) of the gas exiting through the leak is determined. In this case, the fixed frequency is used as the fp value.
The resulting value of the bubble radius is substituted into a well-known relationship that establishes a relationship between the bubble size and the size of the leak in the form
