Description
The invention relates to technical acoustics .and may find application in the design of powerful ultrasonic emitters.
Известен стержневой пьезокерами- 5 ческий излучатель, содержащий пьезопакет и излучающую и тыльные накладки, стянутые армирующей шпилькой, в тыльной накладке выполнена полость, частично заполненная твердым сплавом, ю имеющим температуру плавления ниже допустимой температуры нагрева излучателя .A rod piezoelectric ceramic emitter is known, comprising a piezoelectric packet and radiating and rear pads pulled together by a reinforcing pin; a cavity is partially made in the back pad partially filled with a hard alloy having a melting temperature below the permissible heating temperature of the emitter.
20The disadvantage of this emitter is the large inertia of the frequency tuning process, which protects against overheating, during melting of the alloy, which does not allow sufficiently reliable protection of the emitter from overheating. 20
The purpose of the invention is to increase reliability by stabilizing the thermal regime.
This goal is achieved by the fact that solid inclusions made of a material whose melting point exceeds the melting point of the low-melting alloy are additionally introduced into the inner cavity of the 25-inch overlay.
The drawing shows the emitter.
On the drawing are indicated: 1 - body, 2 - radiating · overlay, 3 - piezoceramic package, 4 rear overlay, 5 - central pin, 6th nut, 7 - low-alloy alloy, for example, Wood alloy, 8 - metal inclusions, for example balls.
The emitter operates as follows.
When an electric voltage of a resonant frequency is applied to it, it vibrates intensively and at the same time its overheating and destruction is possible.
When the back plate is heated to the melting temperature of the low-melting alloy (+ 70 ° С), the latter begins to melt and gradually acquires a liquid state, while the connection of the metal balls with the alloy weakens, the emitter automatically changes its resonant frequency (the frequency rises) and goes into operating mode, not coinciding with its nominal resonant frequency and, therefore, with the frequency of the supply voltage. The amplitude of its oscillations due to this will decrease and with it the heating temperature of the emitter will decrease. During cooling and solidification of the low-melting alloy metal, the inclusions will become rigidly connected with it, and the emitter will get the previous nominal resonant frequency. The described · operating mode of the emitter will be repeated as the emitter is heated and cooled. The design of the emitter ensures automatically the absence of overheating of the piezoceramics during operation of the emitter. At the same time, it is possible to operate at maximum acoustic power, and the introduction of metal inclusions allows you to quickly adjust the frequency, since the required heat to melt a smaller amount of alloy is less, and the heat capacity of the inclusions is small.
Thus, the principle of automatically maintaining the operating temperature of the proposed emitter with metallic inclusions additionally introduced into the fusible alloy is the same as in the main invention, while not only increases the protection of the emitter from overheating, but also reduces the manufacturing cost of the emitter by reducing the amount of used expensive fusible alloy.
Solid inclusions can be made of various materials with a high temperature and voltage of various shapes, for example in the form of metal balls.
