Description

The invention relates to a sealant for sealing the bottom and walls of garbage dumps and waste with a strongly aggressive leaking liquid or as a lining for the interior of a waste tank or a tank for highly aggressive liquids.

Doterajší stav technikyBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Mixtures of unexpanded chemically inactive clay materials such as kaolinite or illite, sand-aluminum zinc, sand and goat are known for mineral sealing.

Their physical sealing performance can be optimized by filling the remaining residual pore volume with a chemically inert, initially liquid hydrogel. This increases the capillary activity of the sealant material as well as the absorbency of the surfaces of the silicate mineral components of the mineral composition materials. These hydrogels also prevent any possible hydraulic strengthening, so that the natural plastic properties of the clay-like materials are retained without shrinkage.

The reliability of the chemical resistance therefore rests largely on the sealing effect of the hydrogel and the criteria of the minerals mixed with it are therefore negligible.

Úlohou vynález je vytvorenie tesnenia v úvode opísaného druhu, prípadne zmesi na toto tesnenie, s ďalej zlepšenou a navyše extrémne dlhodobou odolnosťou proti chemickému pôsobeniu aj zvlášť silno agresívnych substancií, a síce hospodárne optimálnym spôsobom.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to provide a seal of the kind described above, or a mixture thereof, with a further improved and, in addition, extremely long-lasting chemical resistance even of particularly strongly aggressive substances, in an economically optimal manner.

Podstata vynálezuSUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This is accomplished by a sealant for sealing the bottom and walls of garbage dumps and waste with a highly aggressive leaking liquid or as a lining for the interior of waste tanks or highly aggressive liquid tanks according to the invention which is characterized by the use of a mixture of ground clay up to 12% by weight, preferably from 0 to 0.09 mm, from minerals or rocks up to 85% by weight, and preferably from 0 to 8 mm, from 0 to 32 mm or at most 0 to 63 mm, and from a hydrogel filling pores in 3 % by weight of the choice of the proportion of minerals or rocks, particularly as efflorescence heavily carbonate-poor.

Výhodne je podiel nerastov alebo hornín tvorený horninou neobsahujúcou uhličitany, najmä výlevnou horninou neobsahujúcou uhličitany.Preferably, the proportion of minerals or rocks consists of a carbonate-free rock, in particular a carbonate-free weed rock.

Tiež výhodná je celá zmes bez uhličitanov. Also preferred is the entire carbonate-free mixture.

Výskumy totiž prekvapivo ukázali, že rozhodujúcim spôsobom záleží na určitom znečistení minerálnych látok, samotných obalených hydrogélom, aby tesnenie bolo účinné aj proti navyše agresívnym látkam, do ktorých je potrebné zahrnúť aj synergické, prípadne kombinované účinky rôzne agresívnych látok.Surprisingly, research has shown that a certain degree of contamination of the hydrogel-coated minerals is crucial in order for the seal to be effective against additionally aggressive substances, including the synergistic or combined effects of various aggressive substances.

According to a particularly advantageous and equally economical embodiment, the proportion of minerals or rocks of the combination mixture consists of a carbonate-free (magmatic) effluent rock, such as diabase, porphyry, basalt or - with particular advantage - a deep rock, such as granite and the like; of which the highest trace carbonate content is always guaranteed in the simplest way. It is particularly preferred that the entire proportion of minerals in the sealing material, i.e. also the proportion of ground flu, e.g. kaolinite clay with at least 75% 2 µm and a kaolinite content of at least 75%, is carbonate-free.

According to the invention, a special and surprising feature of the absence of carbonates could prove unexpectedly advantageous in that, due to the acidic constituents and the formation of CO 2 gas under pressure, eventually disruption of the protective surface against aggression and possibly the formation of gas bubbles and cracks. Likewise, the influence of traveling or collecting gas bubbles in the plastically deformable sealant is excluded.

Potrebná homogenita zmesi je dosiahnutá spracovaním v bežnom miešacom stroji s dvomi hriadeľmi.The necessary homogeneity of the mixture is achieved by processing in a conventional two-shaft mixer.

Príklady uskutočnenia vynálezuDETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

As an internal hydrogel, DYNAGROUT-GEL from Hiils can be used which, in the sense of the invention, also forms a strong bond with the surfaces of the weed or deep rock, preventing the penetration of aggressive leaking waters at the boundary surface, i.e. they are simultaneously chemically resistant and mechanically consistent. Similarly, the adsorption of rock surfaces against individual pollutants is increased similarly to kaolinitic or illitic surfaces, so that carbonate-free in the coated mineral rock masses is achieved by additional security, which in particular provides additional security benefits also for security against highly concentrated, highly toxic materials, e.g. ethylene dichloride (LDC). Together with increased leakage protection and resistance to aggressive leakage liquids, the seal resistance is greatly increased in the desired way.

Hydrogél pozostáva v prípade výrobku Dynagrout zo silikátov odolných proti škodlivinám s anorganickými Co - tvrdiacimi prísadami a kovovými - anorganickými kremíkovými zlúčeninami (silanmi), pričom tieto dva komponenty môže byť zladené tak, že môžu byť vyrábané gély s vysokou hustotou, špeciálne pomocou roztokov vodného skla s nízkou alkalitou a viskozitou, avšak vysokým pomerom SiO2/Na2O. Pritom môže napríklad asi 30 % objemových vodného skla a asi 60 % objemových vody tvoriť silikátový gél odolný proti škodlivinám.In the case of Dynagrout, the hydrogel consists of silicone-resistant silicates with inorganic Co-hardeners and metal-inorganic silicon compounds (silanes), the two components can be aligned so that high density gels can be produced, especially with water glass solutions with low alkalinity and viscosity, but high ratio SiO 2 / Na 2 O in this case it can be, for example, about 30% by volume of water glass and about 60% water to form a silicate gel is resistant to the harmful substances.

A particularly preferred embodiment of the sealant according to the invention consists in using 0-8 mm granite with a mineral content of 85% by weight, a carbonate content of 12% by weight of carbonate and a Dynagrout hydrogel content of 3% by weight. The Dynagrout hydrogel has the composition described above.
