Abstract

A document in the form of a booklet consists of at least a book cover (1) folded along its middle and each time of a required number of sheets (2, 3) folded along their middle too, all of them bound together by a seam (4) in the fold area. On a selected sheet (2) of the document there is a certain page (20) each time, which should contain data to be protected against falsification or modification to the maximum possible degree. For this purpose, a protection data layer (5) is applied over the page (20) on the sheet (2) of paper or similar material according to the invention, on which this data are available together with the remaining protection elements. At the same time, a strip (6) made of a flexure resistant material, bound to the book cover (1) and to the sheets (2, 3) by means of the seam (4), is provided in the document directly above the said sheet (2), so that the mentioned protection layer (5) is applied over at least a major part of the respective page (20) and at the same time also over at least a part of the said strip (6). In this way, the interior edge (50) of the protection layer (5), facing the seam (4), overlies the said strip (6) and prevents rubbing of the said edge (50) against the sheet (2, 3) and thus damaging of the latter.

Osebni dokument v obliki knjižice, sestoječ iz vsaj osrednje, namreč vzdolž osrednje linije preganjene platnice (1), kot tudi iz želenega števila na vsaj približno enak način preganjenih papirnih listov (2, 3), ki so v preganjenem območju med seboj povezani s pomočjo šiva (4), na ustreznem listu (2) dokumenta, ki ga je potrebno učinkovito zaščititi proti prenarejanju in ponarejanju, pa je na voljo vsaj ena personalizirana stran (20), označen s tem, daje v območju vzdolž šiva (4) in v njegovi okolici preko papirnega lista (2) nameščen neperforiran gibek trak (6), sestoječ iz polipropilena ali polietilena ali PVC, in da je zaščitna plast (5), ki sestoji iz polikarbonata in je opremljena z ustreznimi podatki, ki jih je potrebno zaščititi proti prenarejanju ali zlorabi, nameščena preko vsaj pretežnega dela površine pripadajočega papirnega lista (2) in je nanj pričvrščena s pomočjo trdnega duroplastičnega lepila, omenjeni trak (6) pa je deloma prekrit z zaščitno plastjo (5), tako da proti šivu (4) obrnjen notranji rob (50) omenjene zaščitne plasti (5), nalega na traku (6).1.
