Abstract

An outer casing (5) is arranged to enclose the spray tube (2) and has an air inlet aperture (6). A passage (7) is formed between the spray tube and the outer casing in an intermediate casing (8) with a flow amplifier (9,10). The spray tube and the outer casing are movable relatively to each other so that the water flow (V) past the plate (3) can be throttled. This allows the water to pass through the transversal openings (4) in the spray tube and into the passage of the intermediate casing. In passing through the passage the water passes the thereby freed air inlet opening (6) in order to form foam which is then sprayed outwards around the spreader plate. A number of air inlet openings are distributed in a ring formation extending through the outer casing.
