Abstract

Abrasive-acting hand-washing pastes nowadays preferably contain wood flour, instead of sand as in the past, as rubbing means and are highly viscous. Although portioning paste dispensers are known, they subject the paste store to high pressure for internal material conveyance and for formation of the hand-washing portion, which can, in time, lead to paste hardening and even to loss of the portioning capacity of the paste store in the case of hand-washing pastes based on wood flour. The object of providing a paste storage and portioning which is at low pressure or free from pressure and is secure against drying out is achieved by means of a paste dispenser which - has as portioning device a horizontal feed screw (53) which is open at the top below the paste store, can be driven at intervals and has an adjoining mouthpiece (50) for the formation of a strand of the hand-washing paste, and a knife (41) for severing the paste delivered from the mouthpiece (50), - the feed screw (53) being arranged within a flexible, preferably exchangeable, storage bag (14) for the hand-washing paste, being rotatably mounted in bearing parts (52), (54) and being rotatable by means of a drive shaft (57) passing through the storage bag (14), - and which paste dispenser has a wipe-off device (11, 12) which takes the storage bag (14) between it and wipes it clean as it is lowered towards the feed screw (53); the wipe-off device, which can be lowered simultaneously with the feed screw, serves to support the natural...
