Abstract

The camera has a lens (2) and a diode array fitted on a movable belt (3) and connected to electronic circuitry by a cable loop, a movable mirror (5), a matt plte (6), and a magnifying glass (7). The array sweeps over the picture with a specific speed, which can at the same time determine the exposure time. It comprises two or more adjacent and height-wise displaceable detector rows, possible covered with different colour filters. - The array may be made sufficiently long to cover the normal visual field of a lens with a focal distance of 80 to 100 mm. This increases the picture sharpness with subsequently enlargement. As an alternative, two or more arrays can be used adjacent to one another, displaced in a height direction.
