Abstract
A gas-insulated high voltage device, such as a substation, containing an electric conductor comprising two coaxial conductor sections (2, 3) with circular cross section, which are situated in a stationary position at an axial distance from each other. The conductor sections are connected during operation through an axially displaceable contact sleeve (1), which contains several contact fingers (4) that are situated in a holder (10) and actuated by one or more contact springs (5).<IMAGE>
