Abstract

A fuse assembly comprising a guide device 22 fixedly mounted in relation to an electrical bus-bar 16, and a fuse carrier 11 which supports and partially encloses a generally cylindrical cartridge fuse 10 of the type having a longitudinally projecting tag 12a, 12b extending from each of its two ends, respectively. The fuse carrier 11 is slidably insertable into the guide device 22 in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the fuse cartridge 10 carried thereby such as to guide the fuse cartridge 10 into a position in which one of its tags 12b directly engages the bus-bar 16 in an electrically conductive manner. <IMAGE>
