Abstract

Arrangement for such combined closure caps and drain pipes which are found in particular in fuel tanks and have a cap 1 with a fastening portion such as a thread 5, 6 extending towards the centre of the cap from each end of the same, a drain pipe 8 or the like extending in one direction from the cap. The arrangement is intended to be fixed on a drain neck 11 so that the pipe 8 faces either inwards into the tank or the like 12 on which the drain neck is located, or outwards from the same. In the first case, a sealing plug 2 is fastened to the fastening portion 6 which faces outwards in this position. The other fastening portion 5 is fastened to the neck 11. In the second position, the fastening portion 6 is fastened to the neck while the plug 2 is removed. Connected to the cap 1 is a means 3 which can be moved between two positions, a first position (Fig. 1) in which the means covers the plug 2 in such a way that, when it is fixed in the fastening portion 6, its removal is prevented, and a second position 2, 3 in which the means is displaced so that the removal of the plug from the fastening portion 6 is permitted. The means is designed to be forced into its first position when the arrangement is located in said closing position on the neck 11 with its fastening portion 5, and to be free to take up its second position when the arrangement is at least partly removed from the neck 11 with the fastening portion 5. <IMAGE>
