Abstract

In venetian blinds, the loops (11, 12, 13, 14) of supporting members (9, 10) are fixed on the flanged edges (4, 5, 6, 7) of slats (1, 2). The connection elements between the fixing loops (11, 12, 13, 14) of the supporting members (9, 10) and the slats (1, 2) are in this case sheet-metal screws secured in the flanged edges (4, 5, 6, 7). These screws secure a yoke-shaped loop holder (17) which is of m-shaped design. In this case the two loops (11, 13; 12, 14) arranged above one another on a slat are looped-in from opposite directions. They permit a better closure position of the slats (1, 2). Rubber strips (25) with an outwardly drawn tongue have a sound-attenuating effect and secure the screws by means of axial pressure. The loop ends (15) projecting from the slats (1, 2) have a sound-damping effect. In this venetian blind the fixing arrangement of the supporting members on the slats is simple and inexpensive to produce. It is suitable for machine-mounting and permits straightforward replacement of parts. <IMAGE>
