Abstract

The device for, for example, winding extremely fine wire contains spindles (1) for fixing a take-off bobbin (2) and a winding bobbin (3), a means for rotating the spindles (1) and a sensor (4) for the tension force of the wire (5) to be wound. The means for rotating the spindles (1) is designed as an individual drive (6), each of which contains an attachment (7) which is made of magnetically soft material and is rigidly fastened on the spindle (1), and a winding (8) for generating a rotating magnetic field all round the attachment (7). The output from the sensor (4) of the tension force of the wire (5) to be wound is coupled to the drive of the spindle (1) for fastening the take-off bobbin (2). This device can be used very advantageously for producing wire resistors and various coils of insulated extremely fine wire with micron cross-sections. <IMAGE>
