Abstract

The invention relates to a device related to internal combustion engine induction systems that provide for better running of the engine at idle and at low load conditions, which at the same time reduces air pollution through improved combustion. The invention is characterised in that a control valve is provided in the induction passage between the throttle and the inlet port, whereby an auxiliary passage has one end opening into the inlet passage near the inlet port, via an opening directed towards the combustion chamber. The other end opens into the inlet passage between the throttle and the control valve. Means are provided for closing the control valve when the engine is idling or at low load conditions. <IMAGE>
