Abstract

Man förbättrar egenskaperna for produkter tillverkade i presshärdningsprocessen avsammansatta ämnen,så kallade tailor welded blanks (TWB) genom att kyla svetsen med reducerad kylhastighet under härdningen av den formade produkten.

Description

Den önskade reduceringen av kylhastigheten kan uppnås genom en spalt mellan verktygsparet och färdiga produkten längs svetsen. Man kan också ha en smal uppvärmd del av verktygsparet längs svetsen.

1. Sätt att forma och hårda ett ämne av stâlplåt, sammansatt av hopsvetsade separata plåtar, till en produkt genom att värma ämnet till austenitiseringsområdet och vannforma änmet i ett kylt verktygspar samt härda den formade produkten medan den ligger kvar i verktygsparet, kännetecknad av att man kyler svetsen mellan två plåtar med reducerad kylhastighet i ßrhállande till områdena på var sida om svetsen så att ett smalt mjukt område bildas längs svetsen.
2. Sätt enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att man reducerar kylhastigheten genom att hålla en spalt mellan verktygsparet och färdiga produkten
