Abstract

FIELD: orthopedic stomatology. SUBSTANCE: before selective grounding, on occlusion surface of teeth of plaster models of jaws, coordinates of contact points of teeth are determined using occlusogram obtained in mouth cavity. Further, a plate of transparent material with perpendicularly arranged wire pin corresponding to tooth axis direction is pasted onto occlusive tooth surface, and, from difference of measured heights of occlusive contacts on plaster models and their projections on transparent plate, value of required grounding of hard tissue of teeth is determined with indispensable retention of three or more contacts on occlusive surface of side teeth and linear contact in the group of front teeth. Thus, plane perpendicular to tooth axis is formed in which contact points lie and create surface of occlusive contacts. EFFECT: eliminated horizontal and vertical constituents of chewing pressure.

Claims (1)

The invention relates to medicine, in particular to orthopedic dentistry. The aim of the invention is to eliminate the horizontal and vertical components of chewing pressure. This goal is ensured by the fact that before selective grinding on the occlusal surface of the teeth of the gypsum model of the jaw, using the occlusogram obtained in the oral cavity, the coordinates of the contact points of the teeth are determined, then a plate of transparent material is glued to the occlusal surface of the tooth with a perpendicularly located wire pin, which should correspond to the direction the axis of the tooth, then according to the difference in the height measurements of the occlusal contacts on the gypsum models and their projections on the transparent determine the size of the necessary grinding of the hard tissues of the teeth with the obligatory preservation of three or more contacts on the occlusal surface of the lateral teeth and linear contact in the group of front teeth, while forming a plane in which the contact points lie, perpendicular to the axis of the tooth, create the area of occlusal contacts. The positive effect is evaluated by improving the quality of orthopedic treatment.
