Abstract

FIELD: downpour water collection and disposing. SUBSTANCE: water-receiving well operates as follows: surface rain water after passing through grate 2 flows over inclined plate to setting chamber 6 together with medium- and small-size solid inclusions. Large-size inclusions roll over grate 2, reach refuse disposing trough 10 and get out of further rain water flow. Dimensions of settling chamber, depth of water in it and water flow conditions ensure setting of larger proportion of drift inside removable dirt collector 8. Water flow freed of drift is directed through hole 7 to water receiving chamber 5 which is divided by partition 4 from settling chamber 6 and further via tube 9 it is directed to rain sewerage. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 dwg

The invention relates to sedimentation tanks, stormwater discharge and other devices designed for drainage of storm water. The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of this device, reliability in operation. The storm water well works as follows. Surface wastewater passing through the grate 2 flows down the inclined plate 3 into the settling chamber 6, entraining sediments of medium and fine fractions, large inclusions roll over the grate 2, fall into the waste chute 10 and no longer participate in the total mass of storm water. The dimensions of the settling chamber, the depth of the water in it, as well as the hydraulic flow pattern, contribute to the sedimentation of most of the sediment inside the removable dirt collector 8. Water, free of sediment, enters the water intake chamber 5, separated by a partition 4 from the settling chamber 6, through the drainage hole 7, and further along the drain pipe 9 is sent to the rain sewer network. The proposed device, in contrast to known devices, effectively delays large, medium and small inclusions, which prevents clogging of the rainwater drainage network and extends its service life, and is also reliable and convenient to operate.
