Предложена улучшенная конструкция реактора синтеза метилформиата, который может быть использован также и для осуществления реакций в системах газ-жидкость при высоких давлениях. Трубчатый корпус реактора содержит в нижней части поперечную перегородку, через отверстие в которой газ и жидкость вводятся в камеру смешения, размещенную над перегородкой. Труба камеры смешения сверху заглушена, причем в верхней своей части по периметру перфорирована. Перфорация выполняется в виде радиальных сверлений либо кольцевых щелей, причем диаметр отверстий или ширина щелей по высоте трубы снизу вверх возрастают. Смесь циркулируют как в бездиффузорном эжекторе.
