Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the separability of gas and liquid in the upper part of suction pipe in a three phase fluidized reaction device in which the liquid is recycled through the suction pipe in the device after passing through the fluidized layer, by providing one or plural upwardly convex conical members to the outer periphery of suction pipe. CONSTITUTION:One conical member 14, for instance, which is upwardly convex like an umbrella is provided on the outer periphery of middle part of the suction pipe 11. In this constitution, a part of gas-liquid mixing fluid which flows out from a catalyst layer and flows to the direction shown by arrows is caught by the conical member 14 when it flows between the reactor main body 1 and the suction pipe 11. The gas in the conical member is integrated into large bubbles 16 and flows out from the conical member 14. The liquid is separated from gas due to the density difference and flows out from the conical member 14. The gas and liquid passing by the conical member 14 and the gas and liquid flowing out from the conical member 14 are separated into gas and liquid at the suction part 10 of the suction pipe 11, and the separated liquid is introduced to the suction pipe 11. Though the gas of small bubbles is also introduced into the suction pipe 11, a large part of gas is discharged to the outside of reactor because a large part of gas is formed into the bubbles of large diameter.
