The invention relates to the field of optical instrumentation and can be used to improve the accuracy of firearms. In order to reduce the dimensions and weight of the laser sight, increase the time of continuous operation without replacing the batteries, increase the range, gain the ability to conduct targeted shooting in low light conditions and at night, a semiconductor laser diode operating in visible or IR is used as an emitter -the wavelength range of 0.63 - 0.86 μm, and to reduce the dimensions of the batteries and the entire sight as a whole and increase the time of continuous operation without replacing the batteries, a pulse is applied the operating mode of the laser diode, while the radiation power of the laser diode is the minimum allowable, to obtain the required brightness of the mark on the target and increase the range, the percentage of laser light energy in the main spot is increased due to the use of a single-lens collimator made in the form of a gradient lens with a radial or sphere-concentric distribution of the refractive index.
