Изобретение позволяет изготовлять изделия типа шкивов на машинах для периферийной заливки за счет исключения влияния зазоров между ползушками, помещенными между полуформами для образования периферийной части изделия, путем закрепления экрана на отъемной части полуформы в пространстве периферийного литникового канала. Экран закреплен на полуформе над линией стыка подвижных частей (ползушек) с зазором. При подаче металла он, ударяясь в экран, подается в полость формы.
