In one embodiment, components (A) and (B) are present in quantities sufficient to ensure the purity of the entire fuel supply system; in another embodiment, components (A) and (B) are present in quantities sufficient to prevent or reduce the formation of deposits on the inlet valve, or to remove these deposits in cases where they have already formed. The methods ensure the purity of the entire fuel supply system and prevent or reduce the formation of deposits on the intake valves, or the removal of these deposits.
