Изобретение относится к цветной металлургии и может быть использовано при переработке сульфидных руд и концентратов тяжелых цветных металлов. Цель изобретения - создание способа обеления шлаков, позволяющего уменьшить выход отвального шлака и снизить выбросы серы в атмосферу. Это достигается применением в качестве сульфидирующего реагента при восстановительно-сульфидирующей обработке шлака плавильной зоны в обеднительной зоне двухзонной печи Ванюкова материала, содержание цветных металлов в котором не ниже, чем в исходном металлсодержащем сырье. В качестве такого материала может использоваться концентрат, аналогичный по составу исходному, твердый штейн или концентрат от флота ионного разделения медно-никелевого файнштейна.The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy and can be used in the processing of sulfide ores and concentrates of heavy non-ferrous metals.
