Description
The invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy and can be used in the processing of slags containing non-ferrous and precious metals.
The purpose of the invention is to reduce the loss of copper with slags.
The method is carried out as follows.
For the conversion of mattes, clinker is fed from rolling zinc cakes, which allows one to obtain partially reduced slags.
продукты):The resulting partially reduced slags are poured into a separate furnace for deep depletion. To depletion, a solid mixture consisting of phosphogypsum containing 50-60% CaS04, residual clinker, fluxes, and intermediate products is fed. Quartz ore, limestone, sands and flotation tails are used as fluxes, and solid slags, rinds and other materials of copper-smelting production are used as industrial products. The ratio of the components of the solid mixture (klichker + prom.products):
(0.35-1.5) with a total amount of supplied solid mixture of 100-200% of the amount of lean liquid slag. In this case, slag magnetite is reduced by 35–70% due to carbon and metallic iron clinker and slag sulfidation due to the medium formed during the interaction of the mixture components. Depending on the ratio of the amounts of liquid and solid melting products, matte was obtained containing 15–3.0% copper and slag containing 0.4–0.6% copper. The waste gases of a deep depletion furnace contain 0.003-0.005% by volume of sulfur dioxide and are discharged into the atmosphere without sanitary cleaning.
Example. The method was tested on a commercial reflective furnace with a floor area of 240 m used as a depletion furnace. The partially regenerated converter slag obtained during the conversion process was poured into a separate deep-depletion furnace. At the same time, a mixture was fed into the oven, consisting of

2,phosphogypsum, clinker, fluxes and middlings. Phosphogypsum of the following composition was used: 60% calcium sulfate, 12% moisture, fluxes containing 65% silica, and intermediate products of the following composition,%: copper 11.5; magnetite 15; ferrous oxide 32; ferrous sulfide 13.5; silica 12; calcium oxide 2,
As a result of slag treatment with a reducing-sulfiding mixture, a reverse matte was obtained, containing: copper 20; iron 48; sulfur 25, and waste slag containing 0.5% copper and 30% silica. The matte was sent to the conversion process, and the slag was taken to the dump. Exhaust depletion furnace gases containing 0.004% sulfur dioxide were vented to the atmosphere without additional sanitization.
The modes of implementation of the experiments and the results are shown in the table.
As can be seen from the data presented in the table, the smallest losses of copper with slags are achieved if the following
щих соотношений: (клинкер+промпродук- ты):фосфогипс:флюсы 1:(0,05-0,15):(0,35- 1,5); количество подаваемой смеси равно 100-200% от количества обедн емого шлака .The following ratios are: (clinker + industrial products): phosphogypsum: fluxes 1: (0.05-0.15) :( 0.35-1.5); the amount of the mixture is 100-200% of the amount of depleted slag.
0,46-0,59%.Thus, in comparison with the known, the proposed method allows to reduce the copper content in waste slag from 0.73-1.0 to 0.46-0.59%.
