Abstract
Description
Изобретение относится к области химической промышленности, а именно к способу получения полиамида-6.The invention relates to the field of chemical industry, namely to a method for producing polyamide-6.
There is a known method for producing fiber-forming polycaproamide by hydrolytic polymerization of caprolactam in the presence of 0.1÷4.0 wt. % boric acid at a temperature of 180-165°C, followed by drying and removal of low molecular weight compounds from the polymer granulate (RF Patent 2119928. Published 01/20/2003. Application: 2001115083/04, 2001.06.06). As a result of this method, polycaproamide is obtained having 1.4±0.4 wt. % low molecular weight compounds and relative viscosity 2.10-3.00. The polymer yield is 92.5÷96.9 wt. %. However, this method has significant disadvantages:
- синтез поликапроамида проводят в закрытой системе по периодической схеме;- polycaproamide synthesis is carried out in a closed system according to a periodic scheme;
- поликапроамид после синтеза получают в виде блока, что затрудняет получение гранул полимера одного размера;- polycaproamide after synthesis is obtained in the form of a block, which makes it difficult to obtain polymer granules of the same size;
- невозможность получения поликапроамида на первой стадии синтеза с необходимой высокой молекулярной массой.- the impossibility of obtaining polycaproamide at the first stage of synthesis with the required high molecular weight.
There is also a known method for producing fiber-forming polycaproamide (RF Patent 2145329. Published 02/10/2000. Application: 98101760/04, 01/30/1998). In this method, a reaction mixture consisting of caprolactam and water in glass ampoules is heated to a temperature of 210-225°C and maintained for a certain time until the polymer is close to equilibrium. Then the ampoules are cooled until the contents of the ampoules transform into a solid state, after which the ampoules with the solid polymer are heated to a temperature of 170-190°C and maintained until polymerization is complete. The total duration of the polymerization process in the melt and solid phase is 28-32 hours. Then the ampoules with the polymer are cooled, the polymer is removed, crushed into granules and prepared for molding. This preparation is carried out by heating the polycaproamide granulate to a temperature of 135-140°C. This simultaneously removes water and removes low molecular weight compounds. Water and low-molecular compounds are removed from the drying zone by a stream of inert gas, which from the dryer passes through a monomer trap, a water seal and is released into the atmosphere. Drying is carried out within 10 hours. At the end of drying, the polymer contains low molecular weight compounds from 0.9 to 1.8 wt. % and a relative viscosity of 2.37-2.73 are sent for molding.
However, this method has the following disadvantages:
- невозможность регулирования молекулярной массы поликапроамида в ходе технологического процесса, что позволяет формовать нити только текстильного ассортимента. Для получения целевого продукта с более высокой молекулярной массой полимера, пригодного для формования нитей технического ассортимента. Полученный таким способом поликапроамид необходимо подвергнуть дополнительной обработке, а именно дополнительной поликонденсации в твердой фазе при температуре 180°С в течение 12-18 часов, что приводит к дополнительным энергозатратам. Использование при этом известного приема, в виде уменьшения начального количества воды, приводит к значительному увеличению длительности технологического процесса;- the impossibility of regulating the molecular weight of polycaproamide during the technological process, which makes it possible to mold only textile threads. To obtain the target product with a higher molecular weight of polymer, suitable for spinning technical assortment threads. The polycaproamide obtained in this way must be subjected to additional processing, namely additional polycondensation in the solid phase at a temperature of 180°C for 12-18 hours, which leads to additional energy consumption. The use of a well-known technique in this case, in the form of reducing the initial amount of water, leads to a significant increase in the duration of the technological process;
- невысокое качество гранулята поликапроамида по гранулометрическому составу, так как его получают лишь путем измельчения блока полимера, поскольку указанным способом можно получить полимер только в блоке.- low quality of polycaproamide granulate in terms of granulometric composition, since it is obtained only by grinding a block of polymer, since this method can only obtain polymer in a block.
The closest, that is, the prototype, is a method for producing fiber-forming polycaproamide (Patent No. 2196785. Published 01/20/2003. Application: 2001115082/04, 06/06/2001), including hydrolytic polymerization of caprolactam by obtaining a prepolymerizate melt followed by dehydration of the reaction mass melt.
Существенными недостатками данного способа являются большая длительность процесса (52-56 часов) и высокая концентрация инициатора (3,0% масс).Significant disadvantages of this method are the long duration of the process (52-56 hours) and the high concentration of the initiator (3.0% mass).
%.The technical result of the present invention is the production of an equilibrium low-viscosity polyamide-6 granulate within 46-48 hours in the presence of an initiator - water in an amount of 1.0-1.3 wt. %.
This result is achieved by the fact that the method for producing polyamide-6 consists of sequentially carried out processes of two-stage polymerization of caprolactam at a temperature of 210-220°C, production of PA-6 granulate from the melt using the method of underwater granulation, subsequent continuous combined drying-demonomerization in the solid phase of the resulting equilibrium granulate polyamide-6 at a temperature of 150-160°C and a process duration of 46-48 hours.
[1].These synthesis parameters determine the thermodynamics of the process and, as a consequence, the properties of the final product [1].

Next, using the method of underwater granulation, polyamide-6 granulate is obtained from the polymer melt, and then the process of continuous combined drying-demonomerization of the resulting equilibrium PA-granulate is carried out in a flow of heated inert gas - nitrogen and irrigation of water vapor and caprolactam with subsequent condensation and sending their mixture to the production cycle to the stage of preparing the initial reaction mixture caprolactam - water.
