1997. № 9. С. 6-7].The composition of the charge for producing glass microbeads is known, described in the article [Krokhin V.P., Bessmertny V.S., Puchka O.V., Nikiforov V.M. Synthesis of yttrium-aluminum glasses and minerals // Glass and Ceramics. 1997. No. 9. P. 6-7].
The disadvantage of the known composition is the low quality of the finished product.
The closest technical solution adopted for the prototype is the charge for producing glass-metal microspheres, described in the patent [Patent RU 2455118 Glass-metal microspheres and method for their production. Publ. 07/10/2012. Bull. No. 19], the charge includes metal wire, ground glass and a binder.
The disadvantage of this composition is the low quality of the finished product.
The invention is aimed at developing a charge that ensures the production of high-quality glass-metal microspheres, with a low percentage of defects, without the use of binding materials in the charge.
The technical result of the proposed invention is to improve the quality of the finished product.
Это достигается тем, что состав шихты для получения стеклометаллических микрошариков, включает металлическую составляющую и стеклосодержащую составляющую, при этом в качестве металлической составляющей используется порошок стали, в качестве стеклосодержащей составляющей используется тонкодисперсный порошок стеклобоя, а гранулированная до 0,5-2,0 мм шихта увлажняется до 8-10%, мас.%:This is achieved by the fact that the composition of the charge for producing glass-metal microbeads includes a metal component and a glass-containing component, while steel powder is used as the metal component, finely dispersed glass cullet powder is used as the glass-containing component, and the charge is granulated to 0.5-2.0 mm moistened to 8-10%, wt.%:
25%steel powder - 25%
75%.cullet powder - 75%.
Characteristics of components.
Broken sheet glass of the following chemical composition (wt.%): SiO 2 – 72.0; Na 2 O – 14.5; CaO – 6.8; Al 2 O 3 – 3.2; MgO – 3.4; Fe 2 O 3 – 0.05; SO 3 – 0.5.
9849-86.2. Steel powder according to GOST – 9849-86.
17.1.1.04-80.3. Water GOST 17.1.1.04-80.
Steel powder 25% and glass powder finely ground in a ball mill 75% were moistened to 8-10% and averaged in a mixer for 20 minutes. The mixture was granulated in a laboratory granulator to obtain granules of 0.5-2.0 mm. The granules were placed in the powder feeder of the UPU-8m electric arc plasmatron. The arc was ignited and the plasma-forming gas argon and charge were supplied to the plasma torch at a flow rate of 2.5 g/sec.
In a plasma torch with an average mass temperature of the plasma torch of 5000°C, instantaneous melting of the charge occurred with the formation of spherical molten particles. Under the influence of the exhaust plasma-forming gas argon, the particles were transformed into the storage zone, where they were cooled and accumulated in the receiving collection.
Then the obtained samples were analyzed.
№1.The research results are presented in table. No. 1.

ПримерExample
Steel powder 0.25 kg and glass powder finely ground in a ball mill 0.75 kg were moistened to 9% and averaged in a laboratory mixer for 20 minutes.
Under the influence of the exhaust plasma-forming gas argon, the particles were transformed into the storage zone, where they were cooled and accumulated in the collector.
Количество идеально сферических частиц стеклометаллических микрошариков размером 450-3100 мкм составили 96,5%, количество брака – 3,5%.The number of perfectly spherical particles of glass-metal microspheres with a size of 450-3100 microns was 96.5%, the number of defects was 3.5%.
71%.The diffuse reflection coefficient, carried out on the POS-1 device using the standard method, was 71%.
Thus, with the developed composition of the charge for producing glass-metal microspheres, high-quality glass-metal microspheres were obtained, with a low amount of rejects, without the use of any additional binding components.
