Abstract
Description
Изобретение относится к области нанотехнологии и может быть использовано для получения монодисперстных наноструктур, в частности, углеродных нанотрубок, фуллеренов, графена, и т.д., а также композитов на их основе.The invention relates to the field of nanotechnology and can be used to obtain monodisperse nanostructures, in particular, carbon nanotubes, fullerenes, graphene, etc., as well as composites based on them.
The prerequisite for the creation of the invention is the need to obtain evenly distributed single (primary) nanoparticles, with the aim of subsequent fixing on the surface of the binder layer, for example, polymer particles (microdroplets of wax, or another polymer, or another substance or composite applicable for depositing nanosized particles on its surface) or surfaces of tapes, threads, fibers, fabrics and other forms. At the same time, the main problem of obtaining such single nanoparticles is the tendency of dispersed nanosized structures to reconnect with each other, enlargement (aggregation and agglomeration). If these nanostructures are not fixed in time and conditions are not created for their preservation in a separated state, the quality of the target product is significantly reduced. Thus, during the entire technological process of formation of fractions uniform in size or single dispersed nanoparticles, it is necessary to carry out controlled manipulation of individual nanoparticles in order to prevent their repeated aggregation and agglomeration.
Из уровня техники известны различные способы, основанные на механическом разделении наноматериала с целью получения одиночных наночастиц.Various methods are known from the prior art, based on the mechanical separation of a nanomaterial in order to obtain single nanoparticles.
For example, from the materials of the published international application PCT WO 2007103256 (A2) a method is known for dispersing a carbon nanomaterial, including introducing a flow of bulk particles in the first inert gas into the evaporation chamber, maintaining the evaporation chamber at a temperature sufficient to evaporate the bulk particles, introducing the evaporated particles from the evaporation chamber into the rarefaction chamber, introducing a flow of the second inert gas into the rarefaction chamber through a dilution opening in the dilution chamber, sufficient to eject bulk material from the outlet, thereby condensing the bulk material into single particles in a gas stream of sufficient volume to prevent agglomeration of single particles, while remaining in the rarefaction chamber, larger particles (aggregates and agglomerates) are pumped out by a pump.
Основными недостатками известного технического решения являются сложность и низкая эффективность технологического процесса, обусловленная отсутствием дальнейшей консервации отобранных одиночных частиц в разделенном состоянии, что ведет к дальнейшему их укрупнению и агломерации, высокая вероятность прохождения через выходное отверстие камеры более крупных частиц, а также необходимость повторного введения в систему диспергации откачиваемых насосом крупных частиц.The main disadvantages of the known technical solution are the complexity and low efficiency of the technological process, due to the lack of further conservation of the selected single particles in a separated state, which leads to their further enlargement and agglomeration, a high probability of larger particles passing through the outlet of the chamber, as well as the need for re-introduction into system of dispersion of the large particles pumped out by the pump.
From the patent GB 2473048 (A) a method for separating a carbon nanomaterial is known, which includes supplying a dispersed bulk nanomaterial in a gas flow to a cyclone cone-shaped separator in the region of its upper part, separating the nanomaterial into smaller particles (single) and larger particles (aggregates and agglomerates) and due to the effect of gravity and centrifugal forces on them, the sedimentation of larger particles in the form of sediment on the cone-shaped inner surface of the separator and the supply of smaller particles through the opening of the vertical nozzle into the device for the formation of finished fractions.
The known technical solution assumes the presence of waste in the form of agglomerated and aggregated nanomaterial particles deposited on the inner surface of the separator, subject to subsequent mechanical extraction in order to re-introduce it into the system, which significantly complicates the entire technological process. Also, further preservation of the selected single particles in a separated state is not provided, which leads to their further enlargement and agglomeration. At the same time, the execution of the entire lateral inner surface of the cyclone separator cone-shaped does not provide effective separation of the nanomaterial at the outlet, since there is a possibility of both small and larger nanomaterial particles being pushed into the opening of the vertical nozzle.
В документах WO 2004043855 (А2) и СА 2983470 (А1) раскрыты способы получения наноматериала с закреплением углеродных наночастиц на поверхности связующего полимера, путем осаждения углеродных наночастиц на поверхности каплей аэрозоли из расплава полимера, после чего микрокапли полимера, опудренные углеродными наночастицами, застывают и отбираются как готовая фракция, в частности путем осаждения на дне циклона (по патенту СА 2983470 (А1)).Documents WO 2004043855 (A2) and CA 2983470 (A1) disclose methods for producing a nanomaterial with carbon nanoparticles fixed on the surface of a binder polymer by depositing carbon nanoparticles on the surface with an aerosol droplet from a polymer melt, after which the polymer microdroplets powdered with carbon nanoparticles solidify and are taken as a finished fraction, in particular by sedimentation at the bottom of the cyclone (according to patent CA 2983470 (A1)).
В известных из указанных документов технических решениях не раскрыты конкретные методы предварительной деагломерации и дезагрегации наночастиц, оседающих на микрокаплях связующего полимера. При этом согласно материалам указанных документов данные способы предусматривают наличие агрегаций или агломераций углеродных наночастиц на поверхности полимера, в связи с чем, целесообразно сделать вывод об отсутствии комплексного подхода, позволяющего обеспечить получение поверхностного слоя материала с осажденными на него одиночными наночастицами.The technical solutions known from these documents do not disclose specific methods for the preliminary deagglomeration and disaggregation of nanoparticles deposited on binder polymer microdroplets. At the same time, according to the materials of these documents, these methods provide for the presence of aggregations or agglomerations of carbon nanoparticles on the polymer surface, and therefore, it is reasonable to conclude that there is no integrated approach that allows obtaining a surface layer of a material with single nanoparticles deposited on it.
The present invention solves the problem of creating a technology for separating single nanoparticles from agglomerates and combined nanostructures - aggregates (for example, single-walled nanotubes twisted into a bundle), which makes it possible to simplify the technological process itself by using a closed cycle for separating single nanoparticles, which excludes the formation of waste in the form of agglomerated and aggregated particles , and at the same time improve the quality of the target product due to the cyclic impact on the nanomaterial at the stages of dispersion and further formation of finished nanostructures by fixing the dispersed particles on the surface of the binder material in order to prevent their re-agglomeration.
The problem is solved by the fact that a method is proposed for obtaining single nanoparticles on the surface of the binder base, dispersed from bundles and tangled agglomerates of nanoparticles, including the supply of bulk nanomaterial to the nanoparticle dispersion unit in a compressed gas flow, which ensures the primary movement of the nanomaterial through the first bypass, the passage of the resulting dispersion into the first cyclone separator for separating dispersed single particles from the remaining aggregated and agglomerated ones due to the effect of gravity and centrifugal forces on nanomaterial particles, sedimentation of aggregated and agglomerated particles with their subsequent transfer back to the mentioned dispersion unit to repeat the dispersion cycle and subsequent separation of single nanoparticles from the remaining aggregated ones and agglomerated, the selection of dispersed single nanoparticles separated by an ascending gas flow from the first cyclone separator into the central channel of the OS block forming the reaction zone deposition of individual nanomaterial particles on the surface of the binder base, feeding the formed composite material into the second cyclone separator, separating the formed composite material from the individual particles selected by the ascending gas flow that did not have time to fix on the surface of the binder base, with their further transfer back to the reaction zone of the deposition unit for repetition a cycle of deposition of individual nanomaterial particles on the surface of the binder base, extraction of the target product through the lower branch pipe and the storage tank of the second cyclone separator.
At the same time, at the inlet of the dispersion unit on bulk nanomaterial, at least sequential exposure to the re-introduced cascade of flat-slot nozzles by a compressed gas flow in the direction co-directed to the primary movement of the flow, further passage of the resulting dispersion through the Laval nozzle, followed by exposure to ultrasonic vibrations, can be provided, and at the outlet of the dispersion unit - by a re-introduced cascade of flat-slot nozzles with a compressed gas flow in the direction co-directed to the primary flow movement.
Отделение сформированного композитного материала от отбираемых восходящим газовым потоком отдельных частиц, не успевших закрепиться на поверхности связующей основы, может осуществляться за счет воздействия на отдельные частицы и композитный материал сил гравитации и центробежных сил.The separation of the formed composite material from the individual particles selected by the ascending gas flow, which did not have time to gain a foothold on the surface of the binder base, can be carried out due to the impact on individual particles and the composite material of gravitational and centrifugal forces.

The bypass (29) is connected on one side to the inlet part of the block (16), and on the other hand, to the vertical outlet pipe (28) of the cyclone separator (24).
Способ получения диспергированных одиночных наночастиц в соответствии с Фиг. 1 осуществляют следующим образом.The method for producing dispersed single nanoparticles according to FIG. 1 is carried out as follows.
(34).Through the loading lock (1), a portion of bulk nanomaterial is fed by a measuring device or automatically into the nozzle (2), in which one or more nozzles (3) are located, directed along the axis of the nozzle towards the block (4). Through these nozzles, the nanomaterial is set in motion by pulses of compressed air and fed through the bypass (5) into the zone of primary dispersion of the block (4), at the inlet of which several flat-slot nozzles (6) are located opposite each other, directed at an angle to the axis of the nozzle (7) in side, co-directed to the flow, through which the compressed gas is supplied. As a result, a high degree of turbulence occurs at the convergence line, which activates the primary dispersion. Moreover, the number of pairs of nozzles (6) can be several and form a cascade. Further, the mixture of gas and nanomaterial, having acquired a certain speed, enters the Laval nozzle (8), where the gas flow is accelerated many times and, at the outlet of the nozzle, passes through the cavitation zone, where the dispersion process is enhanced. In this place, an ultrasonic emitter (9) is located, the ultrasonic action of which gives the nanoparticles additional mobility. Further, the gas flow passes through a branch pipe (10) with a cascade of flat-slot nozzles (11), where the nanomaterial is exposed to the maximum impact from aggregated particles, for example, bundles of single-walled nanotubes (Fig. 7) with particle sizes of 1-100 μm or entangled agglomerates (Fig. 8 ) with a particle size of 100-500 µm, the maximum number of individual single (primary) nanoparticles is separated, for example, single nanotubes with a diameter of 1.6 nm +/- 0.2 nm and a length of up to 1 µm. Further, the gas flow through the inlet pipe (12) (Fig. 2), tangentially entering the upper cylindrical part (33) of the cyclone separator (13) and having an inclination of 12 degrees to the horizontal, begins its movement along the wall of the cyclone separator (13) (Fig. 2), gradually decreasing, passes to its lower conical part (34).
During this movement, nanomaterial particles (agglomerates, catalyst, foreign inclusions) having a greater mass than single nanoparticles are squeezed out by centrifugal force closer to the walls of the cyclone separator, and the separated single nanoparticles with a slowed down gas flow that has changed the direction of its movement move to the center of rotation and ascending flow are taken out into the vertical branch pipe (14). The aggregates and agglomerates through the lower branch pipe (15) again enter the space of the branch pipe (2) in front of the loading lock (1) into the zone of action of the nozzles (3), which ensure the primary movement of the nanomaterial, and then again find themselves in the dispersion zone of the block (4). Since the individual nanoparticles have a very small mass, the type of gas (viscosity), temperature, pressure, and velocity of entry into the cyclone separator are selected so that only the lightest (single) nanoparticles are retained in the upward flow.
Далее смесь газа и отдельных частиц через патрубок (14) циклонного сепаратора (13) попадает в реакционную зону блока (16), которая может быть организована несколькими способами:Further, the mixture of gas and individual particles through the nozzle (14) of the cyclone separator (13) enters the reaction zone of the block (16), which can be organized in several ways:
а) В канале реакционной зоны блока (16) расположена форсунка-распылитель (17) (см. Фиг. 3), направленная вдоль потока наночастиц, через специальный канал из нагреваемого резервуара (на Фиг. не показан). Расплав полимера под давлением, проходя через форсунку-распылитель, выходит в виде аэрозоли из полимерных микрокапель, на поверхность которых оседают отдельные частицы наноматериалов;a) In the channel of the reaction zone of the block (16) there is a spray nozzle (17) (see Fig. 3), directed along the flow of nanoparticles through a special channel from a heated reservoir (not shown in Fig.). The polymer melt under pressure, passing through the spray nozzle, exits in the form of an aerosol from polymer microdroplets, on the surface of which separate particles of nanomaterials settle;
б) Под каналом реакционной зоны в блоке (16) смонтирована открытая ванна (18) (см. Фиг. 4), либо закрытая ванна (35) с патрубком (36), выходящим в канал реакционной зоны (см. Фиг. 5), с размещенным внутри ванны ультразвуковым зондом (19). При прохождении потока наночастиц через канал реакционной зоны блока (16) они пролетают над ванной (18) с нагретым до температуры близкой к кипению полимером, при этом помещенный в ванну ультразвуковой зонд создает над ванной облако аэрозоли из полимерных микрокапель, на поверхность которых оседают отдельные частицы наноматериала;b) An open bath (18) (see Fig. 4) or a closed bath (35) with a branch pipe (36) leading into the reaction zone channel (see Fig. 5) is mounted under the reaction zone channel in block (16), with an ultrasonic probe placed inside the bath (19). When the flow of nanoparticles passes through the channel of the reaction zone of the block (16), they fly over the bath (18) with a polymer heated to a temperature close to boiling, while an ultrasonic probe placed in the bath creates an aerosol cloud of polymer microdroplets over the bath, on the surface of which separate particles settle nanomaterial;
в) Через специальную фильеру (20) (см. Фиг. 6), заведенную в канал реакционной зоны в блоке (16) подается адгезионный материал (например мононить, мультифиламентная нить, лента, волокно, полоса, ткань). Поверхность этих материалов должна иметь соответствующие адгезионные свойства для удержания оседающих на нее отдельных частиц наноматериалов. Устройство кроме фильеры имеет приемный порт (21) и протяжный механизм с размотчиками (22) и намотчиками (23), что обеспечивает постоянное перемещение адгезионного материала и регулируемое время его экспозиции в потоке наночастиц.c) Through a special spinneret (20) (see Fig. 6), brought into the channel of the reaction zone in block (16), an adhesive material is fed (for example, monofilament, multifilament yarn, tape, fiber, strip, fabric). The surface of these materials must have appropriate adhesive properties to hold individual particles of nanomaterials deposited on it. The device, in addition to the spinneret, has a receiving port (21) and a broaching mechanism with unwinders (22) and winders (23), which ensures the constant movement of the adhesive material and the adjustable time of its exposure to the flow of nanoparticles.
В вариантах а) и б) микрокапли, опудреные отдельными наночастицами, попадая в циклонный сепаратор (24), имея большую, чем отдельные наночастицы, массу, через нижний патрубок (25) попадают в накопительную емкость (26) и извлекаются в виде целевого продукта, а наночастицы, не успевшие закрепиться на поверхности микрокапель, восходящим потоком газа извлекаются из циклонного сепаратора через патрубок (28) и через байпас (29) снова поступают в реакционную зону блока (16).In options a) and b), microdroplets powdered with individual nanoparticles, entering the cyclone separator (24), having a mass greater than individual nanoparticles, through the lower pipe (25) enter the storage tank (26) and are extracted in the form of the target product, and the nanoparticles that did not have time to fix on the surface of the microdroplets are removed from the cyclone separator through the nozzle (28) by an ascending gas flow and again enter the reaction zone of the block (16) through the bypass (29).
При выполнении блока (16) согласно варианту в) наночастицы, не успевшие закрепиться на поверхности адгезионного материала, по аналогии с вариантами а) и б) извлекаются из циклонного сепаратора газовым потоком и через байпас (29) возвращаются в реакционную зону осаждения.When performing block (16) according to option c), the nanoparticles that have not had time to fix on the surface of the adhesive material, by analogy with options a) and b), are removed from the cyclone separator by a gas stream and returned through the bypass (29) to the precipitation reaction zone.
При этом необходимо отметить, что указанные примеры выполнения конструкций блока осаждения отдельных частиц наноматериала (16), блока диспергации (4) и циклонных сепараторов (13), (24) даны исключительно для пояснения настоящего изобретения и не имеют характера, ограничивающего объем патентных притязаний настоящего изобретения.At the same time, it should be noted that these examples of the construction of the unit for the deposition of individual particles of nanomaterial (16), the unit for dispersion (4) and cyclone separators (13), (24) are given solely to explain the present invention and do not have a nature that limits the scope of patent claims of the present inventions.
