SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of transporting articles, in particular having a cylinder shape, on railway cars or on semitrailers, or for manipulation by means of forklifts, container trucks or gantry cranes with transverse beams or similar equipment. Platform for transportation of articles, in particular having cylindrical shape, comprises rectangular frame (1) comprising ledges parallel to short axis of symmetry of frame (1), and pair of inclined elements (2), opposite to each other, and cast angles of container. Inclined elements (2) comprise at least two plates (4, 5). Inclination angle of lower plate (4) is less than inclination angle of top plate (5). Inclination angle of lower plate (4) is at least 30°, and inclination angle of upper plate (5) is at least 40°. At least one of a pair of opposite inclined elements (3) comprises retainer seats (6). Frame (1) contains fixing guides (7). Holders (8) are installed with the possibility of sliding in the specified guides. Two retainer guides (7) are located between two opposite inclined elements (3).
EFFECT: invention improves stability of transported articles and eliminates loss of retainers.
