Abstract
Description
The invention relates to aircraft, in particular, to emergency escape, and may find application in the ejection of flight personnel from an aircraft in a wide range of possible flight speeds.
There are known parachutes used as part of ejection seats to ensure that the operator lands at an acceptable speed, for example, parachutes of the GQ1000, GQ 5000 type from Irwin Industries, used on MK-10, MK-16 chairs (Martin Baker, UK) or submarines -63, PL-81, used on Russian seats of the K-36D and K-36D-3,5 type (S.M. Alekseev. “Aircraft crew rescue equipment.” Moscow. Mechanical Engineering, 1975).
The design of these parachutes of the traditional scheme provides at the maximum speed of their application the maximum permissible load for the operator and, accordingly, the maximum permissible filling speed of the canopy.
When a parachute is inserted at speeds lower than the maximum permissible, the parachute filling rate decreases, the filling time increases and, as a result, the height loss during filling increases.
The need to ensure an acceptable rate of parachute filling in the entire possible range of its use and, accordingly, to minimize the height loss during the filling of such a parachute has led to the use of parachutes of a relatively small area of about 60-70 m 2 . But parachutes of such an area are able to provide an acceptable value of the landing speed of about 6-6.5 m / s under standard conditions only when the weight of the parachute is about 100 kg, which corresponds, taking into account the mass of the equipment used by the flight crew, the weight of the suspension and parachute system, the mass of the pilot itself is about 70 kg.
A significant increase in the weight of the flight crew up to 90–110 kg, as well as the possibility of using a parachute in mountainous conditions and in a hot atmosphere that differs significantly from the standard one, leads to an unacceptable increase in the landing speed.
The task of reducing the landing speed in such conditions can be achieved, for example, by using various parachute-jet systems using additional powder engines. One of such schemes in relation to an ejection seat is given in patent RU 2544076 dated 10.10.2013.
Naturally, the use of such a scheme to reduce the landing speed of the pilot leads to an increase in the weight of the system, to a decrease in the reliability of its operation and, most importantly, to complicate the operation of the ejection seat with such a system.
An alternative to using an additional powder engine with its inclusion system can be the use of a parachute increased approximately 1.5 times the area.
But, as is well known, an increase in the area of the parachute F leads to an increase in the time of its filling approximately proportional to √F and, accordingly, to an increase in the loss of height when filling such a parachute.
Therefore, to preserve one of the most important characteristics of the ejection seat - the minimum safe height for its use when using such a new parachute with an increased area - it is necessary to increase the intensity of its filling.
The prototype is the parachute canopy filling scheme according to the patent RU 2310585 dated 01/19/2006, the filling intensity of which varies depending on the speed of its use with the help of the corrugation ring, which at high speeds of the parachute is destroyed by a special device even when the parachute is inserted, and when used at low speeds - with the help of pyro-cutters after a certain time.
In this case, at application speeds close to the maximum permissible (from 300 ... 400 to 650 km / h), parachute filling is carried out according to the traditional scheme, and at low speeds (up to 300 ... 400 km / h), a filling system is used to fill the canopy of the parachute domes at the initial stage, including an ejection control system, a reefing ring mounted on a canopy, pyro-cutters mounted on a reefing ring, a pyrozamok mounted on the head of the ejection seat, ribbons, the upper ends of which are attached to pirozamku, and the lower ends of the seam are attached to the dome of the parachute.
The method of filling the canopy of the parachute in this case is to change the mode of operation of the parachute depending on the information about the flight speed at the time of the accident, which is used by the ejection seat control system, whether or not giving an electric command to open the lock, as a result of which a two-stage sequence is realized at low speed dome filling - filling the reformed dome and continuing to fill it after re-trimming.
However, such a scheme for filling the canopy of the parachute has two fundamental drawbacks.
Firstly, it requires an information connection between the aircraft’s board and the ejection seat about the aircraft’s speed at the moment of ejection and the complication of the ejection seat automation system that generates special control commands when ejecting at low speed.
Secondly, on the design of the ejection seat in the area of the headrest there should be a special pyrozamok controlled by the automatics of the ejection seat, with the help of which the forced destruction of the reef ring before the pyro-cutters are triggered is ensured.
All this complicates the design of the ejection seat, its automation, requires the availability of information about the flight speed of the aircraft at the moment of ejection, which is not always possible in an emergency due to a possible malfunction in the information system of the aircraft or lack of on-board power supply.
The objective of the invention is to remedy the above disadvantages.
The method of filling the canopy of the parachute is to use the corrugation ring, two pyro-cutters and after the parachute is inserted, the process is always carried out in two stages:
- вначале только нижней части купола парашюта, имеющей благодаря своей меньшей площади более интенсивное наполнение, но при этом обеспечиваются допустимые уровни воздействия на летчика перегрузок торможения в процессе этой стадии наполнения купола парашюта на максимальных скоростях применения;- at first, only the lower part of the canopy of the parachute, which due to its smaller area has more intensive filling, but at the same time acceptable levels of exposure to the pilot of overload braking during this stage of filling the canopy of the parachute at maximum speeds are provided;
- и затем, через определенное время - при вводе парашюта на малой скорости, либо после естественного разрушения рифовочного кольца после достижения в нем предельной нагрузки - при вводе парашюта на большой скорости, после гашения скорости всей системы в результате наполнения нижней части купола, интенсивное наполнение верхней части купола, которая из-за нагружения в процессе наполнения при небольших скоростях может быть изготовлена из легкой и мало воздухопроницаемой ткани.- and then, after a certain time - when the parachute is inserted at low speed, or after the rifle ring is naturally destroyed after reaching the maximum load in it - when the parachute is entered at high speed, after the speed of the entire system is damped as a result of filling the lower part of the dome, intensive filling of the upper part of the dome, which due to loading during the filling process at low speeds can be made of light and slightly breathable fabric.
This method of filling the canopy of the parachute 1, placed in the head of the
6.The system for filling the canopy of the parachute contains a
The lower and upper parts of the canopy of the parachute are connected at the installation site of the riffing ring with a hole of a certain passage section, which is for the lower part of the canopy in the process of filling it with a pole hole.
The upper part in the top zone also has a hole of a certain section, which is the pole hole of the entire canopy of the parachute after the destruction of the reef ring.
The corrugation ring is made of material with a certain maximum permissible level of breaking load, such that during the filling of the parachute at high speeds until the collapse of the corrugation ring, the speed of the system decreases and it becomes possible to fill the upper part of the canopy of the parachute made of light and slightly breathable fabric.
At a low speed, the destruction of the reefing ring always occurs, after a certain time, with the help of two pyro-cutters installed on this ring, which are launched when the cover is removed from the canopy of the parachute during its entry.
Thus, the proposed method and system for filling the canopy of the parachute allows for vigorous filling of the canopy during ejection over the entire range of speeds of its use.
