Abstract
Description
The invention relates to measuring equipment, and more specifically, is intended for measuring weak magnetic fields and can be used primarily in magnetometry.
A known sensor of weak high-frequency magnetic fields [RF Patent No. 2536083, IPC G01R 33/05, G01R 33/24, publ. December 20, 2014], containing a dielectric substrate, on the upper side of which are strip conductors of two microstrip resonators, and a magnetic film coated with a metal layer acting as a screen is deposited on the lower side. The conductors of the resonators are located at an optimal angle to each other, providing the maximum conversion coefficient of the sensor. The power of the microwave generator is supplied to both resonators at the same time, and the sensor output signal is generated by two signals taken simultaneously from these two resonators, while the resonator signals are added up and the generator noise is compensated. Such a sensor design has small dimensions, a low level of intrinsic noise and a wide frequency band.
The disadvantage of this design is the drift of zero value, i.e. spontaneous deviation of the DC component of the voltage at the output of the magnetometer, which does not allow measurements at frequencies below 10 -2 Hz.
The closest analogue in terms of essential features is a small-sized high-frequency magnetometer [RF Patent No. 163174, G01R 33/05, publ. 07/10/2016, (prototype)], containing a multilayer printed circuit board on which a dielectric substrate is placed with strip lines of two microstrip resonators deposited on the surface of the substrate. A thin magnetic film is deposited on the underside of the substrate facing the earthed polygon of the printed circuit board. The resonators are pumped by a shielded microwave generator. The output signal of the magnetometer is generated by two amplitude detectors and a differential amplifier with a compensation measurement circuit. A constant bias field in a magnetic film is created by a system of permanent magnets. A design feature of the magnetometer is the use of a compensation coil of low-frequency magnetic fields, made in the form of a printed inductance on several layers of a multilayer printed circuit board. This feature allows you to compensate for the low-frequency component of the magnetic field and not to shield the high-frequency component of the magnetic field.
The disadvantage of the design of the prototype is the drift of zero at the output of the magnetometer, which does not allow to measure the value of the constant component of the magnetic field.
The technical result of the claimed technical solution is to reduce the magnitude of the drift of the zero value of the output signal of the magnetometer.
The claimed technical result is achieved by the fact that in the sensor of weak magnetic fields containing a dielectric substrate, on the upper side of which a microstrip resonator conductor is deposited, and on the lower side a thin magnetic film coated with a metal layer is deposited, a magnetic system that creates a constant bias field, a microwave generator microstrip resonator pumping, amplitude detector, operational amplifier, compensation system, new is that the high-frequency magnetic field and constant field bias Nia directed strictly along the axis of difficult magnetization film, a compensation field and the measured field directed perpendicular to the axis of difficult magnetization film, and further uses a synchronous signal detection circuit comprising a synchronous detector, the generator and the modulating field modulation coil, which field is directed perpendicularly to the axis of difficult magnetization film.
Comparative analysis with the prototype shows that the claimed device is distinguished by the presence of a synchronous signal detection circuit, including a synchronous detector, a modulating field generator and a modulation coil, and a magnetic field configuration: the constant bias field and the microwave pump field are directed strictly along the axis of the difficult magnetization of a thin magnetic film (TMP ); the measured field, the field of the compensation system, and the modulation field are directed strictly perpendicular to the axis of the difficult magnetization.
Thus, the above characteristics that are distinctive from the prototype allow us to conclude that the claimed technical solution meets the criterion of "novelty."
Signs that distinguish the claimed technical solution from the prototype are not identified in other technical solutions and, therefore, provide the claimed solution with the criterion of "inventive step".
The invention is illustrated in the drawing, which shows a functional diagram of a sensor of weak magnetic fields.
The weak magnetic field sensor contains: a low-noise microwave generator (1), the output of which through the coupling capacitance C CB (2) is connected to the resonator (3) formed by the capacitance C P (4) and the strip inductance L P (5). A thin magnetic film (TMP) (6) is placed directly under the strip L P (5). The input of the amplitude detector (7) is connected to the resonator (3), and the output is connected to the operational amplifier (8). The output of the operational amplifier (8) is connected to a compensation system (9) formed by a feedback coil L OC (10) and a series-connected feedback resistance R OC (11), as well as to the input of a synchronous detector (12). The magnetic system (13), consisting of permanent magnets, is positioned in such a way as to form a constant bias field H SM strictly along the axis of the difficult magnetization (OTN) of the film [Salansky, N. Physical properties and application of magnetic films / N.M. Salansky, M Sh. Erukhimov. - Novosibirsk: Science, - 1975. - 202 p.]. The output of the RF modulation generator (14) is connected to a modulation system (15) consisting of a modulation coil L MOD (16) and a series-connected resistance R MOD (17), as well as to the input of a synchronous detector (12). TMP (6) is placed in the resonator (3) in such a way that the OTN is directed strictly along the direction of the magnetic field H HF formed by the strip L P (5). The feedback coil L OC (10) and the modulation coil L MOD (16) are placed in such a way that the fields H COMP and H MOD formed by them are directed strictly perpendicular to the OTN. The feedback circuit time constant is chosen in such a way as to effectively compensate for the low-frequency measured field H ISM and not to compensate for the high-frequency modulation field H MOD . The direction of the maximum sensitivity of the sensor to the measured field N ISM is orthogonal to the OTN of the film. The output signal of the synchronous detector (12) is the output signal of the sensor of weak magnetic fields.
The device operates as follows. The signal of the low-noise microwave generator (1) through the separation capacitance C CB (2) is supplied to the resonator (3) formed by the capacitance C P (4) and the inductance of the strip L P (5), which forms the high-frequency field H RF in the film (6). The frequency of the generator (1) is equal to the resonant frequency of the resonator (3), and for permalloy films of nonstrictive composition it is chosen in the range of 600-800 MHz. Amplitude detector (7) measures the magnitude of the amplitude voltage across the resonator. The output signal of the amplitude detector (7) is supplied to an operational amplifier (8), the output signal of which is supplied to a compensation system (9) formed by a feedback coil L OC (10) and a feedback resistance R OC (11), as well as to the synchronous input detector (12). The H COMP field created by the feedback coil L OC (10) coincides in magnitude with the measured field H ISM and is opposite to it in direction, as a result of which the measured field H ISM is compensated in the film region. The magnetic system (13) forms a constant bias field H SM directed strictly along the OTN. The signal of the high frequency modulation generator (14) is fed to a modulation system (15), consisting of a modulation coil L MOD (16) and resistance R MOD (17). The modulation coil L MOD (16) generates a modulating magnetic field H MOD , directed perpendicular to the OTN. The amplitude of the modulating field N MOD is higher than the maximum intensity of the measured field N ISM , the frequency of the modulating field is higher than the maximum frequency N ISM . Signals from the output of the operational amplifier (8) and the high frequency modulation generator (14) are fed to the input of the synchronous detector (12). From the output of the synchronous detector (12), the signal is transmitted to the consumer. Since the bias field Н СМ is directed strictly along the OTN, the device operates in the frequency doubling mode and there is no signal at the output of the synchronous detector in the absence of the Н НММ field (there is no component in the signal spectrum with the frequency Н MOD ). When the H ISM field appears, the working point of the sensor is shifted and the spectrum components of the output signal change — a component with the H MOD frequency appears, which is detected by a synchronous detector. As a result, a signal appears in the output of the device, which is proportional to the value of the measured field H ISM .
The main advantage of introducing modulation schemes and synchronous detection is the weakening of the effect of zero-value drift (zero drift) at the sensor output, which is expressed in spontaneous deviation of the output voltage in the absence of a measured signal. Experimental studies of the inventive sensor of weak magnetic fields showed that, in comparison with a device of a similar purpose (prototype), the inventive device provides a smaller drift of zero value at the output of the sensor. A sensor of weak magnetic fields can be used in cases where it is necessary to measure the magnitude of the magnetic field in the frequency range from a constant component to units of megahertz.
