Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to the field of the petroleum, petrochemical industry and, more specifically, to methods for the extraction of a valuable metal concentrate from heavy petroleum feedstocks (heavy oils, bitumen, tar and other heavy petroleum refined products) using low-temperature plasma generated by microwave radiation .
Heavy crude oil is characterized by an increased content of compounds of certain valuable metals (V, Ni, Mo, Co, etc.), which are practically lost during the processing of this type of raw material by traditional methods. Existing thermal methods for the separation of metals from heavy petroleum feedstocks (demetallization) either do not provide the required degree of purification of the feedstock from metal compounds, or their use on an industrial scale is not economically feasible (multistage, energy-intensive and capital-intensive).
A known method of thermal processing of high molecular weight carbon-containing raw materials into lighter compounds (RU No. 2385344, IPC C10G 9/28, C10G 15/08, C10G 11/18, published 03/27/2010), including the effect of microwave radiation on the chemical transformation zone, which serves finely dispersed solid substance that absorbs microwave radiation, while in the zone of chemical transformation, the raw material is present in the form of a fluid boiling fraction, which forms the chaotic motion of particles of finely divided solid matter. The vaporous phase of the chemical conversion products passes through a liquid high molecular weight carbon-containing raw material, followed by separation into separate fractions of useful products, while the finely dispersed solid in the chemical transformation zone is heated with an alternating microwave electromagnetic field to a temperature at which the substrate undergoes thermal transformations, for example, 400-800 ° C . The disadvantages of this method is that all the energy of microwave radiation is spent on heating finely dispersed substances to the temperature of the reaction, as well as on the fractionation of reaction products. The method is expensive in connection with the use of the sorbent and energy-intensive.
A known method of rapid destruction of oil residues and oil sludge described in (RU 2462500 C2, 10.06.2012). The known method provides for the use as a porous solid material that absorbs high-frequency electromagnetic radiation, carbon sorbents having a dielectric loss tangent greater than 8 and selected from the following: sorbents from brown coal, gas coal, flax fire or wood waste. The process of destruction of oil residues and oil sludge involves their adsorption in pores and on the surface of carbon sorbents and treatment with microwave radiation at an induced temperature of 300-600 ° C for no more than 10 min in a stream of argon (Ar) or carbon dioxide (CO 2 ). The disadvantage of this method is the high energy intensity of the process due to the inefficient use of microwave energy in the reaction volume and the complex scheme due to the need to use a sorbent.
The closest analogue (prototype) to the proposed invention is a method for the rapid destruction of residual oil products described in (RU 2535211 C2, 02.21.2013). The method is intended for the processing of oil pitch and deasphalting, taken in equal quantities with a carbon sorbent. The method includes adsorption of said oil products in the pores of a carbon sorbent and treatment with microwave radiation at an induced temperature of up to 600 ° C in a stream of argon or carbon dioxide for 10-20 minutes. As a rule, crushed charcoal with a dielectric loss tangent of 8.8 is used as a carbon sorbent. The disadvantages of this method are:
- невозможность переработки других видов тяжелого нефтяного сырья (гудрона, тяжелых нефтей, битумов и др.);- the impossibility of processing other types of heavy oil raw materials (tar, heavy oils, bitumen, etc.);
- использование сорбента, что приводит к разбавлению концентрата металлов и загрязнению его минеральными компонентами углей;- the use of a sorbent, which leads to dilution of the metal concentrate and its contamination with the mineral components of coal;
- использование древесного угля с определенным значением тангенса угла диэлектрических потерь, равным 8,8, что существенно сокращает возможности применения данного метода и удорожает процесс;- the use of charcoal with a certain value of the dielectric loss tangent equal to 8.8, which significantly reduces the possibility of using this method and makes the process more expensive;
- высокая длительность процесса в связи с низкой температурой.- high duration of the process due to low temperature.
The objective of the invention is the allocation of a concentrate of valuable metals contained in heavy oils and products of their processing in the most simple and effective way.
One of the effective methods for the extraction of valuable metals from heavy petroleum feedstocks is the use of microwave radiation (microwave radiation) as a source of plasma generation and the corresponding heating of the thermochemical conversion zone of the feedstock. Since the plasma is inside a hydrocarbon liquid, the efficiency of physicochemical processes under the action of its active particles and radiation is high, therefore, the rates of formation of decomposition products are also high. The thermochemical effect on heavy crude oil is exerted by the plasma formed at the end of the vertical electrode. In the indicated plasma region under the influence of microwave energy, heating of the oil feedstock, the formation of a gas bubble containing hydrocarbon gases, and gas breakdown occur. A gas bubble with hot products of plasma-chemical reactions, rising from the electrode to the surface of the liquid, transfers part of the thermal energy to the volume of the liquid, thereby heating it. In addition, active plasma particles (atoms, radicals) penetrate into the volume of the processed fluid, initiating chemical reactions in it. Thus, thermochemical processes occur both inside the gas bubble and in the liquid volume due to absorption of microwave radiation and interaction with the products of plasma chemical reactions.
The task set for the efficient separation of the concentrate of valuable metals contained in heavy oils and products of their processing is solved as follows.
The method of separating the concentrate of valuable metals contained in heavy oils and products of their processing, is that they process the heavy oil feedstock by the action of microwave plasma for 2 minutes in a heated reactor equipped with a vertical electrode with a through hole through which a layer of oil feedstock they supply an inert gas — argon, and the plasma and the accompanying gas breakdown are initiated by microwave energy at the tip of the electrode at a temperature of no higher than 1500 K, and then the filtration separation is carried out annogo oil feedstock to yield a solid, which is a concentrate having an increased content of valuable metals.
Heavy petroleum feed is loaded into a heated plasma-chemical reactor of the installation, equipped with a vertical electrode with a through channel for supplying an inert gas - argon. An inert gas is supplied through the electrode, after which the reactor is switched on and plasma is generated. At the tip of the electrode, a gas breakdown is initiated with the further formation of gas bubbles, the temperature inside which reaches 1500 K. The treatment is carried out for 2 minutes.
As the feedstock, metal-containing heavy petroleum feedstock with a density of 900 to 1100 kg / m 3 is used . A copper rod is used as the material for the electrode.
The method allows to obtain a concentrate of valuable metals, such as Ni, V, Mo, Co, Cu, Zn and others contained in the feedstock.
The invention is illustrated by the drawing, which shows a block diagram of the implementation of a method for separating a concentrate of valuable metals from heavy oils and products of their processing under the influence of microwave radiation in plasma.
Achievement of the technical result is the separation of a valuable metal concentrate in the form of a solid product and the production of liquid hydrocarbons with a reduced metal content, from which, using traditional technologies, components of motor fuels and raw materials for the petrochemical industry can be obtained.
The proposed method allows you to process a wide range of heavy crude oil without the addition of a sorbent, while the duration of the process is reduced from 20 to 2 minutes

A portion of dehydrated and heated to 333 K oil with a density of 910 kg / m 3 weighing 45 g was loaded into the reactor of the installation through which argon was bubbled.
