Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the technology of magnetically solid ferrites and can be used in the manufacture of barium hexaferrites.
СССР № 1406645 и 1549387).A known method of producing hexaferrite, including mixing the initial mixture of barium carbonate or strontium with iron oxide by dry grinding in a vibratory mill, synthesizing hexaferrite from the resulting mixture by calcining, grinding the synthesized charge, pressing billets from the crushed mixture and sintering (ed. Certificate. USSR No. 1406645 and 1549387) .
Dry grinding of the mixture of the initial ferrite-forming components does not provide the required activity of the mixture during the subsequent synthesis of hexaferrite, which requires an increase in the temperature of the synthesis of the charge.
Closest to the proposed is a method of wet grinding of the mixture, which allows to increase the activity of the mixture to synthesis (Letyuk L.M., Zhuravlev G.I. Chemistry and technology of ferrites. L .: Chemistry. 1983. - 256 pp.). However, the activity achieved is not sufficient to significantly reduce the sintering temperature.
The technical result is an increase in the coercive force on the magnetization of barium hexaferrite more than 230 kA / m and an increase in activity when grinding a mixture of the starting ferrite-forming components in the production of barium hexaferrite.
Технический результат достигается тем, что проводят мокрое измельчение в кислой среде, содержащей полиакриловую кислоту, карбамид и изопропиловый спирт при следующем соотношении компонентов, мас.%:The technical result is achieved by conducting wet grinding in an acidic medium containing polyacrylic acid, urea and isopropyl alcohol in the following ratio of components, wt.%:
The invention consists in the following. Molecules of isopropyl alcohol, decomposing particles of barium carbonate into barium hydroxide and carbon dioxide, cause the saturation of the aqueous medium with barium hydroxide. Polyacrylic acid, binding to barium cations, forms insoluble complexes that settle on the surface of the particles in the form of active gel-like layers. As a result, the activity of the initial ferrite-forming components to synthesis is markedly increased, which allows one to lower the temperature of barium hexaferrite synthesis. Reducing the synthesis temperature allows you to get more active sintering fine powders of hexaferrite, which allows to reduce the sintering temperature of raw pressed preforms of hexaferrite. Urea helps to reduce the viscosity of the suspension obtained during wet grinding. The result also increases the efficiency of wet grinding. The limits of the content of polyacrylic acid - 0.2-0.6% wt., Urea - 0.8-2.0% wt., Isopropyl alcohol - 4-10% wt., Water - 27-43% wt. selected from the following considerations. To ensure a decrease in sintering temperature T sintering , ° C, the values should not exceed for polyacrylic acid - 0.6% wt., Urea - 2.0% wt., Isopropyl alcohol - 10% wt., Water - 43% wt. When the content of polyacrylic acid is less than 0.2 wt.%, Urea is 0.8 wt.%, Isopropyl alcohol is less than 4 wt.%, Water is less than 27 wt.%, Barium hexaferrite has an insufficient magnetization coercive force.
Data on the effect of grinding by the proposed method and prototype are shown in the table. The results were obtained by averaging ten measurements. As can be seen from the data, the use of the proposed grinding method can significantly reduce the firing temperature of the mixture, providing a specific magnetization of at least 50 nTlm 3 / kg, and subsequent sintering of pressed blanks, increase the coercive force of magnetization and the residual induction of barium ferrites.
