Description
The field of technology.
The invention relates to the composition of continuous basalt fiber and the technology for its production and can be used in the chemical and construction industries, in particular for concrete reinforcement.
The prior art.
В патенте RU 2102342 раскрывается стеклянное непрерывное волокно, содержащее следующие компоненты, масс.%: SiO2 47-57; AL2O3 13-18; TiO2 1,2-2,0; Fe2O3+FeO - 8-12; CaO 6-12; MgO 3-8; K2O+Na2O 3-6.RU 2102342 discloses a glass continuous fiber containing the following components, wt.%: SiO 2 47-57; AL 2 O 3 13-18; TiO 2 1.2-2.0; Fe 2 O 3 + FeO - 8-12; CaO 6-12; MgO 3-8; K 2 O + Na 2 O 3-6.
Кроме того, накладываются некоторые ограничения на соотношение оксидов железа: отношение Fe2O3:FeO составляет не менее 1,2, а сумма оксидов железа - 8-12%.The method of its manufacture includes melting of mountain basalt rock fraction of 5-15 mm and an acidity module of 4.7-6.5 at a temperature in the furnace of 1500-1600 ° C in an oxidizing environment. The composition of the mixture is adjusted to achieve this acidity module by selecting the ratio of the sum of aluminum and silicon oxides to the sum of calcium and magnesium oxides. In addition, some restrictions are imposed on the ratio of iron oxides: the ratio of Fe 2 O 3 : FeO is at least 1.2, and the sum of iron oxides is 8-12%.
As follows from the description of this technical solution, the technical result of the invention is to increase the strength (from 2000 to 2550 MPa for a fiber with a diameter of 8.5-8.7 microns), heat resistance of the fiber and the expansion of the class of rocks from basic to medium compositions.
The disadvantages of this method include the low alkali resistance of aluminosilicate fiber, its high breakage, as well as low adhesion to cement.
ZrO2 3,0-10,0.The closest continuous basalt fiber and the method for its preparation are disclosed in the abstract of patent CN 1272561 (A). Continuous basalt fiber contains components in the following ratio, wt.%: SiO 2 45.0-55.0, Al 2 O 3 12.0-15.0, Fe 2 O 3 9.0-12.0, TiO 2 2 , 0-3.0, CaO 5.0-8.0, MgO 5.0-8.0, K 2 O 1.5-3.0, Na 2 O 2.0-3.5 and ZrO 2 3 0-10.0.
This fiber is obtained by forming a mixture based on basalt powder, fluorite powder and zircon powder (zirconium silicate powder), which are mixed in accordance with a given weight ratio. Then the mixture is melted at a temperature of 1450 to 1550 ° C, the melt is refined and a fiber is formed from the melt by drawing it at standard temperatures. Fiber obtained in this way has acceptable physical and chemical characteristics and can be used in some cases to replace expensive glass fibers.
However, the alkali resistance of the known fiber is not sufficient, since the fluorides used as a component of the charge perform only the smoothing function and do not contribute to the increase of alkali resistance and fiber strength. In addition, fluorides are extremely harmful to human health compounds.
Disclosure of the invention.
The objective of the invention is to eliminate all of the above disadvantages, namely, increasing the alkali resistance of aluminosilicate fiber, increasing its strength and improving the environmental conditions for producing fiber.
Поставленная задача решается способом изготовления непрерывного базальтового волокна, включающим - подготовку шихты путем смешивания измельченной базальтовой породы, содержащей оксиды алюминия, железа, титана, кальция, магния, калия, натрия и кремния с оксидом или силикатом циркония и нитратом лантана в заданном весовом соотношении, нагрев упомянутой шихты до температуры 1450-1600°C, с получением расплава шихты, выдержку расплава при этой температуре для его гомогенизации и последующее формование при температуре 1330-1470°C непрерывного волокна, содержащего компоненты при следующем соотношении, масс.%:The problem is solved by a method of manufacturing continuous basalt fiber, including - preparation of the mixture by mixing crushed basalt rock containing oxides of aluminum, iron, titanium, calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium and silicon with zirconium oxide or silicate and lanthanum nitrate in a given weight ratio, heating said mixture to a temperature of 1450-1600 ° C, to obtain a melt of the mixture, holding the melt at this temperature to homogenize it and subsequent molding at a temperature of 1330-1470 ° C of continuous fiber and comprising the components in the following ratio, wt.%:
7.In particular embodiments of the invention, the problem is solved in that a rock in which the acid modulus (SiO 2 + Al 2 O 3 ) :( CaO + MgO) is from 3 to 7 is used as a basalt rock.
The invention consists in the following.
20-30%.The introduction of a continuous basalt fiber of lanthanum oxide in the form of lanthanum nitrate leads to a significant decrease in the melting temperature of the mixture. In addition to the quite obvious reduction in energy consumption for obtaining the melt to obtain basalt fiber, the advantages of this approach are the improvement of the quality of the obtained fiber, since due to the lower melting point it is possible to introduce up to 16.5 masses into the composition of basalt fibers. % zirconium oxide, which leads to a significant improvement in alkali resistance (in the known technical solution, the content of zirconium oxide is up to 10 wt.%). In addition, lanthanum oxide itself additionally increases the alkali resistance of the fiber, and the fiber strength increases by 20-30%.
The method is as follows.
To obtain fiber used the following raw materials:

Базальтовое сырье этих месторождений характеризуется модулем кислотности (Мк)=(SiO2+Al2O3)/(CaO+MgO) не ниже 3, соответственно, для получения заявленного состава непрерывного волокна не требуется дополнительной корректировки шихты по содержанию этих компонентов;- crushed stone from rocks with a fraction of 20-80 mm according to GOST 8269-87 of the following deposits: iron-containing aluminosilicates of Karelian mining enterprises, basalts of the Marneulsky deposit (Georgia); Andesite-basalts of the Podgornensky deposit (Ukraine) and basalts of the Siltsevsky deposit (Ukraine). The basaltic raw materials of these deposits are characterized by an acidity modulus (Mk) = (SiO 2 + Al 2 O 3 ) / (CaO + MgO) of at least 3, respectively, to obtain the claimed composition of the continuous fiber, no additional charge adjustment for the content of these components is required;
- оксид циркония по ГОСТ 21907-76 в виде порошка;- zirconium oxide in accordance with GOST 21907-76 in the form of a powder;
- цирконовый концентрат (силикат циркония) по ТУ У 14-10-015-98 в виде порошка или зернистого материала естественной крупности;- zircon concentrate (zirconium silicate) according to TU U 14-10-015-98 in the form of a powder or granular material of natural coarseness;
Lanthanum nitrate according to TU 6-09-4676-83 in the form of a powder.
All components of the mixture were mixed in a given ratio.
La2O3.In the case of using zirconium silicate as a component of the charge, its amount was calculated on the content of ZrO 2 , respectively, when lanthanum nitrate was introduced into the charge, its amount was calculated on the content of La 2 O 3 .
The mixture was loaded into the furnace through the loading window using a loading device, where it melted and acquired the necessary properties.
1450-1600°C.The charge was melted in a bath furnace equipped with gas burners. The temperature of the melt holding in the furnace was 1450-1600 ° C.
As the holding temperature increased, the quality of the melt and fiber increased.
1470°C.The basalt melt entered the platinum feeder, on which the fiber was formed. The fiber spinning temperature was from 1300 ° C to 1470 ° C.
From the smelting furnace, the melt entered the feeder, and then it was fed to a spinneret feeder (tubular or slotted) and out through the spinnerets in the form of droplets, being drawn into filaments using a rotating mechanism.
Elementary filaments, passing through the sizing assembly, acquired the ability to stick together and assemble on a yarn collector in one bundle and, with the help of a spreader, were wound around a rotating bobbin. The spreader distributed the thread along the length of the bobbins.
The resulting fiber was tested for alkali resistance and strength.
The alkali resistance of the obtained fibers was determined by the loss of fiber mass after treatment with an alkali solution. For this, a fiber sample with a diameter of 11-12 μm was selected, which corresponds to a surface area of 5000 cm 2 . The fiber was placed in a plastic flask with 250 ml of 1M NaOH or in a 1: 1 mixture of solutions of 1M NaOH + 0.5M Na 2 CO 3 according to ISO 695-2009 and refluxed for 3 hours in a water bath. Next, the fiber was thoroughly washed with distilled water and dried in air to constant weight. Alkali resistance was measured in milligrams of fiber weight loss per square centimeter.
The tensile strength of the fiber was tested on monofilaments with a diameter of 11-12 microns. The samples were mounted on a paper frame using epoxy resin; the clamping length of the sample was 10 mm. Tensile rate - 5 mm / min (GOST 6943.5). Strength was measured in GPa.
Table 1 shows the composition of the obtained fiber and properties depending on the chemical composition and production conditions.
