Abstract
Description
12-22.The invention relates to the field of engineering, in particular the production of abrasive tools from white aluminum oxide on ceramic bonds with structure numbers 12-22.
Из уровня техники известен состав абразивной массы, содержащий абразивные зерна из электрокорунда белого, керамическую связку и наполнитель в виде смеси алюмосиликатных полых сферических частиц с размером в диапазоне от 5 до 560 мкм в количестве 2 - 200% абразивного зерна, которая дополнительно содержит мелкодисперсный порошкообразный оксид железа в суммарном количестве 5-6 масс.% от массы алюмосиликатного наполнителя и 2,5-3% от массы керамической связки (патент RU 2466852 С2, B24D 3/18, 3/34).The prior art composition of the abrasive mass containing abrasive grains of white aluminum oxide, a ceramic binder and a filler in the form of a mixture of aluminosilicate hollow spherical particles with a size in the range from 5 to 560 μm in the amount of 2-200% abrasive grain, which additionally contains fine powdery oxide iron in a total amount of 5-6 wt.% by weight of the aluminosilicate filler and 2.5-3% by weight of the ceramic binder (patent RU 2466852 C2, B24D 3/18, 3/34).
30-46%.The introduction into the composition of the abrasive mass of powdered iron oxide in the indicated amounts does not provide a uniform volume hardness of the abrasive tool with a volume content of abrasive of 30-46%.
The closest solution in technical essence and the achieved result is a mass for the manufacture of an abrasive tool, including an abrasive, a ceramic bond and a filler in the form of hollow spherical particles of aluminosilicate in the form of a mixture of particles ranging in size from 5 to 560 μm in an amount of 2-200 vol.% Abrasive. Additionally, the mass may contain a burnable filler in an amount of 5-250% by volume of an aluminosilicate filler and a filler in the form of hollow spherical particles of low-melting glass in an amount of 5-100% by volume of an aluminosilicate filler both individually and in a mixture of two fillers with a total content of 5 to 250% of the volume content of aluminosilicate filler (see RF patent No. 2152298, B24D 3/18, 2000).
With an increase in the structure number of the abrasive tool, the volume content of abrasive grain decreases. Their lack of abrasive mass creates the prerequisites for volumetric deformation of the tool during its high-temperature firing due to the "contraction" of the existing grains by a cooling ceramic binder after its melting. To reduce the negative consequences in the manufacture of a highly structural abrasive tool, it is necessary to fill the free space after removing the abrasive with other solid components.
2,56-5,26%.Declared in the prototype composition of the abrasive mass, providing stable hardness in the volume of the tool, does not guarantee after firing its minimum deformation necessary to maintain the specified structure number during the manufacturing process. According to (Starkov V.K. Grinding with highly porous circles. - M.: Mashinostroenie, 2007. - 688 p. (P.669)) for a tool with structure numbers 12-22, the volumetric deformation should not exceed the threshold values, respectively 2.56- 5.26%.
The disadvantage of grinding wheels made on the basis of the known abrasive mass containing hollow spherical particles of aluminosilicate in the form of a mixture of particles with sizes from 5 to 560 microns, is also that it contains 20-29% aluminosilicate particles with sizes from 5 to 84 microns. These small-sized particles of aluminosilicate due to the absence of an internal cavity in them have a higher density compared to larger aluminosilicate particles, are prone to segregation during the preparation (mixing) of the abrasive mass, during high-temperature roasting of the tool they do not melt and migrate through the liquid bundle under the action of force gravity to the bottom surface of the tool mounted on the pallet. For these reasons, the introduction into the abrasive mass of aluminosilicate particles ranging in size from 5 to 84 microns negatively affects the stability of hardness in the volume of the tool.
Технической задачей предложенного решения является улучшение технологических и эксплуатационных свойств абразивного инструмента (уменьшение его объемной деформации).The technical task of the proposed solution is to improve the technological and operational properties of an abrasive tool (reducing its volumetric deformation).
The technical result of the proposed solution is to ensure stability of hardness in volume and increase tensile strength.
The technical result is achieved due to the fact that in the composition of the abrasive mass for the manufacture of highly structural abrasive tools, including abrasive, ceramic bond, adhesive and moisturizing additives, finely divided iron oxide and filler, according to the invention, the abrasive consists of a mixture of abrasive grains of two different grain sizes, this volume content of abrasive grains with a smaller grain size with sizes in the range of 60-160 μm is 5-100% of the volume content of abrasive grains with b granularity, the size of which is 160-500 microns, while the filler is a mixture of hollow spherical particles of low-melting glass and hollow spherical particles of aluminosilicate with a size in the range from 8 5 to 560 microns in an amount of 25-100% of the volume content of the abrasive with the highest grit .
It is advisable that the composition is additionally provided with a burnable filler in an amount of 5-50% of the volume content of the abrasive with a larger grain size.
As a technical solution to reduce the volumetric deformation of an abrasive tool, such as grinding wheels, it is proposed to use an abrasive in the form of a mixture of abrasive grains of two different grain sizes.
The content of abrasive grains of two different fractions, with sizes of 160-500 microns and a finer fraction with sizes in the range of 60-160 microns, the content of which is 5-100% of the volume content of grains with higher grain size, which is used mainly as a technological compensator for the missing abrasive, the fine grain fraction does not practically take part in the removal of material.
The presence of a smaller size fraction of abrasive grains allows the number of grains with a size of 60 microns to be 58 times larger than, for example, grains with sizes of 500 microns in the claimed range of abrasive content in the mass with structures 12-22.
A large number of small-sized grains uniformly distributed in the volume of the abrasive tool become the coagulation centers of the liquid ceramic bond, ensuring its uniform solidification throughout the entire volume of the calcined mass. Short and strong bond bridges are formed between adjacent abrasive grains, providing uniform bulk hardness of the tool and its minimum possible deformation.

The best results in the manufacture of a highly structural abrasive tool are achieved by additionally introducing a burnable filler into the composition of the abrasive mass, for example, in the form of ground fruit seeds in an amount of 5-50% of the volume content of the abrasive with a larger grain size.
