Abstract
Description
The invention relates to veterinary medicine and poultry, and specifically to a method for growing quail to increase meat productivity with a veterinary preparation.
Modern poultry farming in many ways solves the problem of maximizing the biological potential of the bird and preserving its productive health. Acceleration of growth dynamics and increase in daily gain in live weight of poultry while reducing economic costs by 1 kg of increase in live body weight is one of the main tasks of poultry farming, in particular quail breeding.
There are ways to increase the meat productivity of poultry by introducing trace elements, vitamins, probiotics into poultry feed. All these methods provide for the repeated use of feed additives and are primarily aimed at optimizing the composition of feed mixtures according to a number of controlled indicators.
Veterinary preparations are known that can increase live weight gain and the safety of farm animals and poultry. Among them, one should single out a multidirectional drug - sodium hypochlorite, which is easy to prepare and much cheaper than other drugs used in veterinary medicine.
Known drug containing polyvinylpyrrolidone, furatsilin, glucose, ascorbic acid and sodium hypochlorite with a concentration of 300-350 mg / l at a certain ratio of components (RF Patent No. 2342122, IPC A61KZZ / 14, 02.20.1999). The invention contributes to the preservation of calves at the level of 95% and by 15-44% increases the gain after its use. The disadvantage of this invention is that there is no information on the method for producing sodium hypochlorite, how it was prepared with the necessary concentrations for use, which cannot fully ensure the positive effect of the drug.
The closest prototype is a method, the use of which allows to increase the safety of poultry up to 98.4%, while in the control groups this indicator is 94.0%, and in young cattle it is possible to achieve 100% safety of animals, while in the control group, this indicator is 70.0% (RF Patent No. 2054291, IPC A61K 33/14, 02.20.1999). The essence of the invention is the free drinking of 0.3-0.5% sodium hypochlorite obtained by the electrochemical method and added to drinking water in an ratio of 1: 150-1: 200 for animals and poultry for the first 14-28 days of their maintenance.
The disadvantage of this invention is that sodium hypochlorite was diluted in ordinary drinking water, which cannot provide the maximum positive result, since it contains foreign substances that can react with sodium hypochlorite, thereby reducing the effect of the drug.
The technical result, the achievement of which the present invention is directed, is to develop a method of using sodium hypochlorite, which provides an increase in the meat productivity of quails, the safety of livestock while reducing feed costs for the increase in live weight of the bird.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the method of growing quail, including the free drinking of an aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite obtained by the electrochemical method according to the invention, an additional aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite is diluted in distilled water to a concentration of 100-200 mg / l and evaporated from the first day to 42-day-old birds every 7 days during the day, on the remaining days, the bird receives drinking water.
The features that distinguish the claimed technical solution from the prototype are aimed at achieving a technical result and have not been identified in the study of this and related fields of science and technology and, therefore, meet the criterion of "inventive step".
These differences allow us to conclude that the claimed technical solutions meet the criterion of "novelty."
Г. м. В. м. Н. Диплом ДКН №009576).Sodium hypochlorite (sodium hypochlorous) - NaOCl, an inorganic compound, the sodium salt of very weak hypochlorous acid. A significant circumstance is the fact that the claimed compound in low concentrations is non-toxic, does not have a mutagenic, carcinogenic effect (Zholobova I.S. Guidelines for the use of sodium hypochlorite in veterinary practice / I.S. Zholobova, V.A. Antipov, E. .A. Petrosyan, A.G. Zafiridi, Krasnodar: 2004 - 25 s), while exerting such effects on the body as inhibition of lipid peroxidation processes, stabilization of the antioxidant defense system of the liver, normalization of elevated bilirubi concentrations a and cytolytic enzymes, oxidation and inactivation in blood and tissues of various endo- and exotoxins, immunomodulating effects, which make this drug attractive for use in veterinary practice (Dissertation of the candidate of medical sciences: Sodium hypochlorite in the treatment of patients with chronic diffuse liver diseases. Myazin P Volgograd Volgograd State Medical University, 182 pages Scientific adviser: MD, professor VV Nedogoda Scientific adviser: MD, associate professor D. Yemelyanov Protected on July 3, 2006, Diploma DKN No. 009576).
Twort's Water Supply. - 6-th edition. - Oxford: Butterworth-Heinemann, 2009. - P.439-441).To date, in veterinary medicine, as a rule, an electrochemical method of producing sodium hypochlorite is used. For this production method, oxide-titanium-ruthenium electrodes (ORTA) or graphite electrodes are used. The convenience of this method is that sodium hypochlorite can be produced in a fairly wide range of concentrations, as well as at the place of its direct use, which is important for consumers (Ratnayaka DD, Brandt M.J., Johnson M. Twort's Water Supply. - 6- th edition. - Oxford: Butterworth-Heinemann, 2009 .-- P.439-441).
The method of growing quail is as follows. From the day of birth to the age of 42 days, the hatched quails are freely evaporated with an aqueous solution of sodium hypochlorite obtained by the electrochemical method and diluted with distilled water to a concentration of 100-200 mg / l, every 7 days during the day, the rest of the days the bird receives drinking water.
Г. м. В. м. Н. Диплом ДКН №009576).The sodium hypochlorite obtained by the electrochemical method is a complete structural analogue of natural sodium hypochlorite and has all its properties. Being a donor of active oxygen and a powerful oxidizing agent, sodium hypochlorite in the body in the presence of oxidizing substances decomposes into active atomic oxygen (O ") and sodium chloride (NaCl), as well as sodium ion (Na +) and hypochlorite anion (C10 - ). Negatively charged ions react with a huge number of substrates in the body, located in biological fluids, on the cell membranes and inside them.As a result of oxidation and chlorination of these substrates, the complex positive effect of sodium hypochlorite on the body appears whole (The dissertation of the candidate of medical sciences: Sodium hypochlorite in the treatment of patients with chronic diffuse liver diseases. Myazin RG Volgograd. VolSMU. 182 pages. Scientific adviser: MD, professor Nedogoda VV Scientific adviser: к. Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor D.N. Emelyanov. Protected on July 3, 2006. Diploma of DTC No. 009576).
An example of a specific application of the method was carried out in the economy of the Republic of Adygea on quails of the Japanese breed. Obtaining a working (mother) sodium hypochlorite solution was carried out by electrolysis of a 0.9% sodium chloride solution using the Klyuch portable electrolyzer manufactured by NPO Petrolazer St. Petersburg and intended for the manufacture of a sodium hypochlorite dosage form - an active physiological solution (AFR) for application in veterinary practice.
Structurally, the device consists of an electronic unit and an electrode system. The electronic unit is a highly efficient pulsed current stabilizer with a microprocessor that controls the operating modes of the device, turns off the electronic unit in case of emergency, and also monitors and stores data on the operating time of the electrode system in volatile memory. The electrode system made of titanium plates with a special durable platinum coating ensures the purity and non-toxicity of the prepared solution.
The objects of research were solutions of sodium hypochlorite in concentrations of 100, 200, 300, and 600 mg / L, which were obtained by diluting the mother liquor (2000 mg / L) with distilled water. The sodium hypochlorite concentration was monitored by iodometric titration. The dilutions of sodium hypochlorite used were set by free soldering to quails of the Japanese breed {Coturnix japonica), which were grown from day old to 42 days.
A number of scientific experiments were carried out to evaluate the best option for evaporating a solution of sodium hypochlorite and the concentrations used.
The solution of sodium hypochlorite in 4 dilutions was evaporated according to the following schemes.
In the first experiment, instead of drinking water, the bird was given sodium hypochlorite solutions in the indicated concentrations from the first day throughout the experiment (42 days).
2. In the 2nd experiment, sodium hypochlorite solutions in the indicated concentrations were set from the first day to the 42-day-old age of the bird every 3 days during the day, on the remaining days the bird received drinking water.
3. In the 3rd experiment, sodium hypochlorite solutions in the indicated concentrations were set from the first day to the 42-day-old age of the bird every 7 days during the day, on the remaining days the bird receives drinking water.
1.Groups of birds were formed according to the principle of analogue pairs with 40 animals each. The experimental design is presented in table 1.
2.Example 1. The data of the first experiment on growing quail using sodium hypochlorite solutions from the first day throughout the experiment are presented in table 2.
As can be seen from table 2, the safety of quail for the growing period in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th experimental groups was lower than in the control by 2.5, 2.5, 7.5 and 5, 0% respectively.
Already in the first week of life, the live weight of quail in all experimental groups tended to decrease this indicator relative to an increase in the concentration of sodium hypochlorite solutions. On the 21st day, the live weight of quail in the 4th experimental group was significantly lower (P <0.05) than in the control group by 11.55%, while in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd In the experimental groups this indicator was lower by 0.73, 3.70 and 7.67%, respectively. The tendency to reduce the live weight of quail in the experimental groups continued throughout the experiment. So, on the 42nd day, the live weight of quail in the control group averaged 152.28 g against 149.31, 147.28, 142.19 and 135.25 g, respectively, in the 1-4th experimental groups .
Feed costs per 1 kg of live weight gain in all experimental groups were higher than in the control group by 0.06, 0.07, 0.15 and 0.27 kg, respectively.
3.Example 2. The main economic indicators of quail in the 2nd experiment when using sodium hypochlorite solutions from the first day every 3 days are presented in table 3.
As the data in table 3 show, there was no statistically significant difference in the live weight of the control and experimental groups. In the 2nd, 3rd and 4th experimental groups, the downward trend in the studied indicator continued throughout the experiment, however, in the 2nd group these values were insignificant. It should be noted that in the 1st experimental group on the 21st day there was an increase in the live weight of quail compared to the control group by 2.11%, while in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th experimental groups, a decrease was recorded this indicator by 1.24, 6.57 and 10.57%, respectively. On the 42nd day, the live weight of quail in the 1st experimental group was 159.53, against 156.91 g in the control.
Feed conversion in the 1st experimental group was 0.03 kg lower than in the control group, while in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th experimental groups it was higher by 0.02, 0.10 and 0.15 kg, respectively.
The safety of the livestock for the period of the experiment was 92.5% in the 1st experimental group, the 2nd - 90.0%, the 3rd - 85.0% and the 4th - 85.0% against 87.5% in control.
4.Example 3. The data of the third experiment on growing quail using sodium hypochlorite solutions from the first day every 7 days are presented in table 4.
From the data of table 4 it can be seen that on the 14th day the live weight of quail in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups was significantly higher (P <0.05) than in the control, by 8.27 and 11.15%, respectively. By the age of 35 days, a significant increase in the live weight of quail in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups was observed in relation to the control group by 8.18 and 9.00% (P <0.05), respectively, while in 3 In the experimental group, the live weight of quail was higher than in the control group by 4.64%, and in the fourth group by 3.85%. On day 42, the live weight of quail in the control, 3rd and 4th experimental groups did not have a significant difference, however, in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups the weight of quail was higher than in the control by 6.32 and 7.63%, respectively.
It should be noted that the cost of feed per 1 kg of growth in the 3rd and 4th experimental groups were higher than in the control by 2.14 and 1.43%, and in the 1st and 2nd lower compared with the control by 2.38 and 2.62%, respectively.
Quail safety during the growing period was in the 1st experimental group - 95.0%, the 2nd - 97.5%, the 3rd - 92.5, the 4th - 90.0% against 90.0% in the control .
The data of the experiments indicate that the most suitable way to use sodium hypochlorite solutions to increase the economic performance of quail is to drink it from the first day to 42 days of age of the bird every 7 days during the day, at concentrations of 100 and 200 mg / l. In the experimental groups, which were given solutions of sodium hypochlorite at concentrations of 100 and 200 mg / l, there was an increase in live weight by 6.32 and 7.63%, an increase in the safety of the poultry head by 5.0 and 7.5%, respectively.
The effectiveness of the drug is also confirmed by the results obtained below under production conditions.
Example 4. The test of the claimed invention was carried out on a farm LLC “Plodservice”, the Republic of Adygea. To increase meat productivity and preservation of quail sodium, hypochlorite at a concentration of 100 and 200 mg / l was used by free soldering from the first days to 42 days of age, the bird every 7 days during the day, on the remaining days the bird received drinking water.
In total, 900 quail of the Japanese breed were used, of which three groups of 300 animals each were formed by the principle of analogue pairs at the age of one day: the control group received drinking water throughout the experiment; The first experimental - received sodium hypochlorite at a concentration of 100 mg / l, by free soldering to the bird from the first day every 7 days and the second experimental - received sodium hypochlorite at a concentration of 200 mg / l, by free soldering to the bird from the first day once in 7 days. On the remaining days of the experiment, the experimental groups received drinking water. Feeding of quails in the experimental periods was carried out with compound feed balanced in terms of basic nutrients in accordance with the age standards of VNITIP.
5.Data on the dynamics of live weight of quail are presented in table 5.
На 42-е сутки живая масса перепелов в 1-й и 2-й опытных группах была выше, чем в контроле, на 7,65 и 7,15%, соответственно, при статистически достоверной разнице (Р<0,05).The data in table 5 show that already on the 7th day the live weight of quail in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups exceeded this indicator in the control by 4.22 and 7.12%. On the 21st day, the live weight of quail in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups was significantly higher (P <0.05) than in the control by 10.36 and 11.89%, respectively. On the 28th day, there was a tendency to an increase in the live weight of quail of the experimental groups and, on average, amounted to 114.49 g in the 1st experimental group and 113.74 g in the 2nd experimental group versus 105.24 g in the control group. By the age of 35 days, an increase in the live weight of quail in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups was observed in relation to the control group by 7.64 and 8.46%, respectively. On day 42, the live weight of quail in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups was higher than in the control by 7.65 and 7.15%, respectively, with a statistically significant difference (P <0.05).
2,67%.Despite the fact that the feed consumption in the experimental groups was higher than in the control, its costs per 1 kg of live weight gain were lower in the 1st experimental group by 4.37%, and in the 2nd by 2.67%.
The safety of quail during the growing period amounted to 96.66% in the 1st experimental group and 96.00% in the 2nd group versus 92.66% in the control group.
6.To study the effect of sodium hypochlorite solutions on the meat productivity of quail at 42 days of age in all groups, a control slaughter of 3 birds of each sex and anatomical cutting of carcasses were performed. Data quail meat productivity are presented in table 6.
Как видно из данных таблицы 6, средняя масса потрошеной тушки в 1-й опытной группе составила 120,54 г, во 2-й - 119,41 г, что достоверно выше по сравнению с контрольной группой на 12,01 и 10,96%, соответственно (Р<0,05).As can be seen from the data in table 6, the average weight of gutted carcasses in the 1st experimental group was 120.54 g, in the 2nd - 119.41 g, which is significantly higher in comparison with the control group by 12.01 and 10.96% , respectively (P <0.05).
To determine the meat qualities of animals and poultry, the study of edible parts of the body is most important. The most valuable muscle groups in the bird carcass are the pectoral muscles, which in the first experimental group had a mass of 33.34 g or 20.30% of the pre-slaughter live weight, and in the second - 33.09 g or 20.15% of pre-slaughter live weight, which is higher than the pre-slaughter live weight of the pectoral muscles in the control group by 1.11 and 0.96%, respectively. The femoral muscle mass data showed that in the 1st experimental group their average weight was 13.25 g, in the 2nd - 13.01 g, which is 0.37 and 0.22% higher than the pre-slaughter live weight of the femoral muscles in the control , respectively (P <0.05). There was an increase in leg muscle mass in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups, which amounted to 8.02 and 8.12 g, which is higher than in the control by 0.39 and 0.49 g.
В целом, средняя масса всех мышц в 1-й и 2-й опытных группах составила, соответственно, 59,78 и 59,43 г, что на 1,40 и 1,20% выше от предубойной живой массы всех мышц в контрольной группе при статистически достоверной разнице (Р<0,05).In general, the average mass of all muscles in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups was 59.78 and 59.43 g, respectively, which is 1.40 and 1.20% higher than the pre-slaughter live weight of all muscles in the control group with a statistically significant difference (P <0.05).
