Description
The invention relates to electrically conductive composite materials and can be used for the production of building materials, namely, to obtain composite materials that meet the requirements of optimal microclimate parameters, and as high-temperature (1000-1300 ° C) resistive elements.
27.07.2006].Known electrically conductive material, including PAIS-104 polyaminimide binder, titanium carbide, carbon filler in the form of graphite powder, carbon black, petroleum or coal coke. The method of obtaining the material involves mixing the components, followed by hot pressing and thermosetting [RF Patent No. 2280657, “Electrically conductive polymer material and method for its preparation”, IPC 7 C08L 79/08, S08K 3/14, S08K 3/04, publ. July 27, 2006].
The disadvantage of this material is that the PAIS-104 polyamide binder included in its composition allows to reach an operating temperature of 300-350 ° C, which is lower than the operating temperature of the proposed resistive composite.
The closest adopted for the prototype is a suspension to obtain a conductive coating containing, wt.%: Sodium metasilicate 28-30; graphite 11-15.5; aluminum oxide 3.5-3.7; iron oxide (III) 3.5-3.7; strontium carbonate 3.5-3.7; potassium titanate 4.2-4.5; barium oxide 1.2-1.5; hydrochloric acid 4.9-5.1; water the rest.
[RF patent №2277733, «slurry to obtain a conductive coating", IPC 7 1/00 N01V, N01V 1/24, publ. 06/10/2006, bull. No. 16]. Mixtures are obtained by simple mixing of the components, the suspension is applied with a brush to the surface of the mica plates, which are calcined at a temperature of 300 ° C for 5-7 hours.
The disadvantages of the prototype are the low mechanical strength and reliability of the film heating elements at high thermal loads. These shortcomings worsen the technical and operational characteristics of film conductive products.
The present invention solves the problem of increasing the raw material base for the production of resistive elements with a wide range of consumer properties: high operating temperature at ultra-low voltage and mechanical strength.
57-68.The technical result is achieved by the fact that the composition regulates the temperature and electrical properties of the material: ground silicon carbide and barium titanate, in the following ratio, wt.%: Sodium metasilicate 3-5, graphite 12-16, barium titanate 17-22 Silicon carbide 57-68.
Resistive material was prepared as follows.
The dry components of the mixture were weighed: graphite powder in an amount of 1.5 g (15%, see Table 1, sample 4), silicon carbide 6.0 g (60%), barium titanate - 2.0 g (20%), and mixed until even distribution, moistened with sodium metasilicate (5%) to molding moisture. Samples from the resulting mixture were molded by semi-dry pressing on a press at a pressure of 200 MPa, and then calcined in a muffle furnace at a temperature of 350 ° C for 2 hours. The obtained sample has the shape of a cylinder with a diameter of 2 × 10 −2 m, length 1 × 10 −2 m. After cooling, the electrical resistivity and electrical conductivity were determined (Table 1).
1.Mixtures of the remaining compositions were prepared in a similar manner. The test results are presented in table 1.
Analysis of the data in table 1 shows the following results:
1. A decrease in the percentage of sodium metasilicate below 3% leads to a decrease in the mechanical strength of the composite due to a violation of monolithicity.
2. The addition of sodium metasilicate in the composition in an amount of more than 5% of the total mass of the sample causes a violation of the plastic characteristics of the sample when pressed with a pressure of more than 0.5 MPa, and during heat treatment it swells.
3. When you exit from the optimal concentration limits of barium titanate and silicon carbide, a decrease in the conductivity of the material is observed.
4. A decrease in graphite content of less than 12% causes a sharp increase in resistance, which negatively affects the technological properties of the resistive composite (lowering the temperature of the heating surface).
5. An increase in graphite concentration of more than 16% is impractical due to a slight increase in the characteristics of the samples. The optimal ratio of the components of the mixture gives the material high quality characteristics.
The physicochemical nature of the claimed technical solution to the problem is as follows: the conservation of the values of the electrophysical parameters of the material is achieved by the proposed composition of the material. In this case, in the resistive composite, stable conductive structures are formed containing a significant amount of barium titanate having a high dielectric constant, separated by particles of a conductive material containing graphite. Since the separating particles in the structure of the material have electrical conductivity, when forming a conductive network inside the entire material, there is no sharp drop in conductivity when the conductive channel is broken from a material containing barium titanate.
Thus, the invention allows to increase the resistance of the resistive composite to high voltage, makes it possible to use it as a high-temperature element for a long time. The advantage is also the low cost and availability of the components that make up the composite, and increase its structural properties.
