Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a multi-row radiator, in particular a flat radiator or a heating wall, with a partial load function according to the restrictive part of paragraph 1 of the claims.
Radiators with devices for directional fluid flow to achieve the partial load function are already known. Thus, it must be achieved that during the heating process, the coolant flows through the heating plate, preferably directed towards the room to be heated, and, thereby, the room is quickly noticeably heated. Such radiators can be made in various ways. One of the possibilities is the sequential inclusion of individual heating plates in such a way that the coolant first flows through the plate facing the room, and then through the plate (s) facing the room. Constructive forms of the implementation of such a radiator principle will be of great importance in the future in repair and modernization measures, as a result of which special attention should be paid to options without an integrated valve, while at the same time a completely freely selectable arrangement of detachable connections. Radiators of this type are described, for example, in publications EP 1227290 B1, DE 3216922 C2, DE 202004019163 U1, DE 202004017628 U1 and DE-PS 25117611. In EP 1227290 B1 in one structural form in one of the transverse channels in the feed direction there is an insert part wherein, by means of the insertion part, the supply water can be directed to another transverse channel. In another embodiment, in one of the transverse channels, the insert is located in the region of the connecting part, whereby the heat transfer from the transverse channel to the connecting part is prevented by the insert.
Other publications describe similar solutions with a variety of plug-in details. The disadvantage of such solutions is that in accordance with the installation instructions, corresponding plug-in parts must be installed in the connecting tees in front of the valve nipples and locking threaded connections.
Further, a fitting is already known from DE 202005012826 U1, which itself extends in the longitudinal direction with respect to the radiator and provides the necessary connection diagram. In this case, the disadvantage is the dependence on the structural length of the radiator.
Therefore, the objective of this invention is to provide the user with a ready-made and universally connected radiator with the possibility of operation with a partial load function, which, without any reference to the structural length, focuses only on the structural height of the radiator and, thus, can be more simply and economically manufactured. Preferably, due to this, connection errors that can adversely affect the partial load functions can be eliminated.
2-7.According to the invention, this problem is solved by the features of paragraph 1 of the claims. Preferred improvements of the invention are contained in items 2-7 related thereto.
Thus, the invention includes a multi-row radiator, in particular a flat radiator or a heating wall, with a feed connection and a drain connection, and a first flow-through and preferably facing the room to be heated radiator plate and at least one other flow-through and located preferably behind the plate, and located between the heating plates on each upper lateral end portion, made in the form of tees, connecting fittings a, b and located connected on the lower lateral end sections, made in the form of tees, with fittings c, d, while the connecting fittings a, c or b, d for connecting the heat carrier from the front heating plate to the rear plate (s) are interconnected by ascending pipe (e). In respectively opposing ascending pipe (s) connecting fittings directed to the rear (s) heating (s) plate (s) the direction of flow is closed. Accordingly, the lower connecting fittings connected to the ascending pipe (e) separate the heat carrier leaving the back plate to the connection point (R) from the heat carrier transferred from the front plate through the ascending pipe (e) to the back coolant plate. Preferably, the connection to the heating circuit can be carried out according to the connection diagrams of AC, AD, BC and BD. Thus, the radiator can be connected to the heating circuit in any way from different sides or from one side.
Depending on the type of connection, the flow of coolant can be introduced through the right or left upper connecting fitting. Undesirable flow directions in the connecting fittings are prevented by the fact that they have locking washers.
With the AD, AC connection diagrams of the upper connecting fittings opposite the feed connection, the passage to the rear plate is closed by a locking washer. Lock washers may be provided with leakage holes. Holes are used to remove air or empty the radiator.
In connection diagrams AC, BD, containing a supply connection, the upper connecting fittings separate the flow (V) of the coolant from the one transferred from the ascending pipe (e) to the back plate of the coolant. Preferably, the separation of the coolant flows encountered in the connecting fittings may occur by means of twin pipe structures within the connecting fittings.
The invention is further explained in more detail using the drawings. Other advantages of the present invention are described.
