Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to the field of production of lower olefins, namely ethylene and propylene, from non-petroleum feedstocks and catalysts for implementing this method.
The production of olefins is of great practical interest, since they are the most valuable raw material for petrochemicals: polymer fibers, plastics, rubbers, alcohols, as well as non-ionic detergents, glycols, ethylene oxide and other products are produced on a large scale. Moreover, global consumption of these products is constantly growing, which causes a constant increase in demand for low molecular weight unsaturated hydrocarbons.
Currently, the main source for the production of lower olefins is the pyrolysis of the gasoline fraction of oil in tube furnaces and the catalytic cracking of petroleum fractions in the production of motor fuels.
However, limited oil reserves and the expected significant reduction in its production expected after 2020 make us look for another, cheaper and more affordable hydrocarbon feedstock. Such raw materials are natural gas, the production and large-scale use of which is projected for a long period. The possibility of obtaining lower olefins from natural gas, in particular from synthesis gas through methanol and dimethyl ether, has attracted great attention of domestic and foreign researchers.
Способ получения олефинов проводят при температуре 450-550°С, давлении 1-9 атм, с объемной скоростью подачи сырья 1500-3000 ч-1.So, in European patents Nos. 1479662 B1 and 0882692 B1 C07C 1/20 and in US patents Nos. 2007/0244000 C07C 6/00 and 2009/0124841 A1 C07C 1/00, a method for producing olefins from methanol (MeOH) and / or dimethyl ether (DME) in the presence of catalysts based on zeolite ZSM-5 with satisfactory results in the conversion of feedstock (in some cases up to 80 wt.%) and selectivity for ethylene and propylene up to 16.6 and 61.7 wt.%, respectively. The method of producing olefins is carried out at a temperature of 450-550 ° C, a pressure of 1-9 atm, with a volumetric feed rate of 1500-3000 h - 1.
В данном процессе синтез этилена/пропилена из ДМЭ/МеОН осуществляют на молекулярных ситах типа SAPO-34 при температуре 450-500°С, давлении 6-8 атм, с объемной скоростью подачи сырья 3000 ч-1.US patent No. 6852897, C07C 1/04, proposes a method for producing olefins from a mixture of MeOH and DME with high selectivity (88 wt.%, Of which 33 and 47 wt.% Accounted for ethylene and propylene, respectively). In this process, the synthesis of ethylene / propylene from DME / MeOH is carried out on molecular sieves of the SAPO-34 type at a temperature of 450-500 ° C, a pressure of 6-8 atm, with a feed volumetric rate of 3000 h - 1.
The authors of US patent No. 2007/0203380, C07C 1/00, suggest varying the ratio of ethylene and propylene in the range of 0.5-2.0 by changing the temperature of the olefin synthesis process. So, from a mixture consisting of DME and MeOH vapors in a ratio of 70-90: 10-30 mol.%, In the presence of catalysts based on ZSM-5 zeolite at ethylene temperature of 500-520 ° C, mainly ethylene is obtained, and at 430-450 ° C - propylene.
US Pat. No. 2007/0038011 C07C 4/02 proposes a method for producing olefins from a mixture of DME / MeOH (1: 1) or DME / H 2 O (10: 1) in the presence of catalysts based on ZSM-5 zeolite with different SiO molar ratios 2 / Al 2 O 3 from 30 to 750. In this process, the synthesis of ethylene / propylene is carried out at a temperature of 450-580 ° C, a pressure of 8 atm with a weighted feed rate of 0.6-5.0 h -1 and selectivity for ethylene and propylene 5.5 and 31 wt.%, respectively.
97%.The process for producing propylene is presented in US patent No. 7015369, C07C 1/00. In accordance with the proposed scheme of the MTR process, methanol in an adiabatic reactor at a temperature of 380 ° C on the surface of aluminum oxide is converted into a mixture consisting of MeOH, DME, and H 2 O vapors in a ratio of 32:34:34 vol.%, Which corresponds to thermodynamic equilibrium dehydration reactions. Then this mixture, after adding water vapor to it, is divided into three streams (in a ratio of 1: 1.3: 1.8) and at a temperature of 435-440 ° C and a pressure of 1.8 atm it enters three identical reactors, where synthesis of olefins in the presence of catalysts based on zeolite ZSM-5. The total (in three reactors) propylene selectivity reaches 97%.
Так, в присутствии катализатора Mg(3,0%)/Mn(3,9%)-ZSM-5 процесс синтеза олефинов осуществляют с весовой скоростью подачи МеОН 2,3 ч-1 и Н2O 3,9 ч-1 при температуре 500°С, давлении 1 атм с высокой конверсией МеОН (100%) и селективностью по этилену 7,8, пропилену 47,4 и бутиленам 25,7 мас.% В присутствии катализатора 0,5% Mg-ZSM-12 процесс осуществляют с весовой скоростью подачи МеОН 2,1 ч-1 и Н2O 3,5 ч-1 при температуре 450°С, давлении 1 атм с конверсией МеОН 80,5% и селективностью по этилену 3,1, пропилену 48,3 и бутиленам 17,6 мас.%.US patent No. 4665268, C07C 1/20, describes a method for producing olefins from a mixture of MeOH and H 2 O in the presence of catalysts based on zeolites ZSM-5 and ZSM-12 containing Mg. So, in the presence of a Mg (3.0%) / Mn (3.9%) - ZSM-5 catalyst, the olefin synthesis process is carried out with a MeOH feed rate of 2.3 h -1 and H 2 O 3.9 h -1 at a temperature of 500 ° C, a pressure of 1 atm with a high conversion of MeOH (100%) and a selectivity of 7.8 for ethylene, 47.4 propylene and 25.7 wt.% butylene in the presence of a 0.5% Mg-ZSM-12 catalyst, the process is carried out with a weight feed rate of MeOH of 2.1 h -1 and H 2 O of 3.5 h -1 at a temperature of 450 ° C, a pressure of 1 atm with a MeOH conversion of 80.5% and an ethylene selectivity of 3.1, propylene 48.3 and butylenes 17.6 wt.%.
The disadvantage of the method for producing olefins in the presence of the described catalyst systems is the rather stringent reaction conditions (450-550 ° C), which is undesirable for a zeolite based catalyst, because in harsh conditions, its coking occurs and, as a result, deactivation.
In addition, the described methods have been developed to obtain lower olefins from mixtures with a high content of Meon, which is also a factor that deactivates the catalyst.
Наиболее близким к предлагаемому техническому решению является катализатор синтеза низших олефинов из диметилового эфира, описанный в патенте РФ №2323777, С07С 1/20, на основе цеолитов типа пентасила с SiO2/Al2O3=25-30, содержащего не более 0,11 мас.% оксида натрия, содержащий или оксид цинка, или оксид циркония, или оксид лантана, или их двухкомпонентные смеси и связующее - оксид алюминия - при следующем соотношении компонентов, мас.%:Closest to the proposed technical solution is a catalyst for the synthesis of lower olefins from dimethyl ether, described in RF patent No. 23233777, C07C 1/20, based on zeolites of the pentasil type with SiO 2 / Al 2 O 3 = 25-30, containing not more than 0, 11 wt.% Sodium oxide, containing either zinc oxide, or zirconium oxide, or lanthanum oxide, or their two-component mixtures and a binder - alumina - in the following ratio, wt.%:
Согласно выбранному прототипу процесс осуществляется в проточном изотермическом реакторе с использованием в качестве сырья газовой смеси, состоящей из ДМЭ и азота с концентрацией ДМЭ 20 об.%, при температуре 340°С, объемной скорости газовой смеси 2000 ч-1.The patent also describes a method for producing lower olefins from dimethyl ether mixed with an inert gas at elevated temperature and atmospheric pressure in the presence of the catalyst described above. According to the selected prototype, the process is carried out in a flowing isothermal reactor using a gas mixture consisting of DME and nitrogen with a concentration of DME of 20 vol.%, At a temperature of 340 ° C, the volumetric velocity of the gas mixture is 2000 h -1 as a raw material.
Thus, the conversion of DME in its presence is 98 wt.%, And the content of C 2 -C 5 olefins in the hydrocarbon portion reaches 80.4 wt.% (Of which 26 is ethylene and 44.4 wt.% Propylene )
The disadvantage of the described catalyst should be attributed to the insufficiently high selectivity for C 2 -C 3 olefins, as well as its low stability.
The objective of the present invention is to increase the selectivity of the catalyst for lower olefins while maintaining its high activity and increase stability in the process of obtaining C 2 -C 3 olefins from mixtures containing up to 20 vol.% DME.
Поставленная задача решается тем, что предложен катализатор синтеза низших олефинов из диметилового эфира на основе цеолита типа пентасила с мольным отношением SiO2/Al2O3=37, содержащего не более 0,04 мас.% оксида натрия со связующим - оксидом алюминия, который дополнительно содержит магний при следующем соотношении компонентов, мас.%:The problem is solved in that a catalyst for the synthesis of lower olefins from dimethyl ether based on a zeolite of the pentasil type with a molar ratio of SiO 2 / Al 2 O 3 = 37, containing not more than 0.04 wt.% Sodium oxide with a binder - alumina, which additionally contains magnesium in the following ratio of components, wt.%:
The problem is also solved by the fact that the proposed method of producing lower olefins from dimethyl ether in a mixture with an inert gas at elevated temperature and pressure, which is carried out in the presence of the proposed catalyst.
A known method for the modification of catalysts, as mentioned earlier, in the description of US patent No. 4665268, C07C 1/20, based on zeolites ZSM-5 and ZSM-12 with magnesium or a mixture of magnesium and manganese in order to increase the selectivity of the process of obtaining lower olefins.
Однако авторам патента удалось в жестких условиях (450-500°С) добиться увеличения селективности по С2-С3 олефинам только до 51-55 мас.%However, the authors of the patent succeeded in harsh conditions (450-500 ° C) to achieve an increase in selectivity for C 2 -C 3 olefins only up to 51-55 wt.%
In addition, such selectivity for lower olefins is achieved not only by modifying the zeolite catalyst with magnesium and manganese, but also by improving process parameters such as a fluidized and moving catalyst bed, recycling, and intermediate catalyst regeneration in an air stream at elevated temperatures on every cycle.
In the proposed patent, the introduction of even less magnesium in the composition of the catalytic composition based on domestic zeolite, obtained in industry and which is an analogue of foreign zeolites, leads to an increase in selectivity of the obtained catalyst system compared with the known solution by 1.8-2 times, which indicates the achievement synergistic effect.
Так, при конверсии ДМЭ 97 мас.% и при содержании в продуктах олефинов С2-С5 = до 82 мас.%, как в прототипе, в отношении низших олефинов селективность по С2-С3 достигается до ~80 мас.% (по сравнению с прототипом, в котором на долю этилена приходится 26, а на долю пропилена 44,4 мас.% и по сравнению с известным техническим решением 51-55 мас.%).So, with a DME conversion of 97 wt.% And with a content of C 2 -C 5 = 0 wt.% Olefins in the products, as in the prototype, with respect to lower olefins, C 2 -C 3 selectivity is reached up to ~ 80 wt.% ( compared with the prototype, in which ethylene accounted for 26, and propylene accounted for 44.4 wt.% and compared with the known technical solution 51-55 wt.%).
Another technical result that can be obtained from the use of the proposed technical solution is that the obtained qualitative and quantitative composition of the catalyst composition allows to increase the volumetric feed rate of the gas mixture from 2000 to 7000 h -1 while maintaining the specified selectivity of the catalyst, which indicates its high stability and the possibility of increasing the productivity of the process of obtaining lower olefins, which is a strong argument for the application of the proposed technical solutions in the domestic industry.
Another technical result that can be obtained from the use of the proposed technical solution is that the introduction of magnesium in the composition of the catalytic composition allows at least three times the regeneration of the catalyst and reuse it almost without loss of selectivity for C 2 -C 3 olefins, which also indicates its stability.
It should be noted that the preferred temperature of the process according to the invention is 320 ° C (with high DME conversion up to 97 wt.% And selectivity for C 2 -C 5 olefins up to 82 wt.%, Including C 2 -C 3 up to ~ 80 wt.%), which makes the process somewhat less energy intensive and, in addition, the proposed catalytic system was obtained on the basis of zeolites produced by domestic industry.
Both of these circumstances are positive arguments for the application of the proposed technical solution in the domestic industry and indicate the receipt of an additional technical result, which is expressed in the cheaper process for producing a catalyst and the process for producing lower olefins in its presence as a whole.
The following examples illustrate the invention, but in no way limit its scope.
Catalyst Preparation
The zeolite used to prepare the catalyst is a domestic analogue of the ZSM-5 type zeolite, high modulus zeolite (CVM) with a molar ratio of SiO 2 / Al 2 O 3 = 37 (produced by Angarsk Plant of Catalysts and Organic Synthesis OJSC, contains no more than 0, 04 wt.% Sodium oxide). The hydrogen form of the zeolite with a given residual sodium oxide content of not more than 0.04 wt.% Is obtained by double cation exchange of Na + in a 1N solution of ammonium nitrate, followed by drying and calcination for 4 hours at 500 ° C. Magnesium is introduced into the composition of the catalyst from an aqueous solution of six-water magnesium nitrate by the method of zeolite ion exchange before mixing it with a binder (alumina) or by impregnation of granules (extrudates) obtained by extrusion from a mixture of zeolite with a binder.
The magnesium content in the catalyst is 0.1-2.0 wt.%.

Содержание магния в готовом катализаторе 0,1 мас.%.The catalyst is prepared on the basis of the base CVM zeolite described above. An aqueous solution of Mg (NO 3 ) 2 * 6H 2 O is mixed with an aqueous solution of the starting zeolite and ion exchange is carried out for two hours with constant stirring and heating to 95 ° C. Then the zeolite is washed with distilled water until there are no salt anions in the filtrate, dried in an oven at a temperature of 100-110 ° C for 3-4 hours and calcined in a muffle furnace at 500 ° C for 4 hours. The modified zeolite is mixed with a binder - a suspension of aluminum hydroxide (contains 23 wt.% Dry Al 2 O 3 manufactured by Industrial Catalysts CJSC, Ryazan). The catalyst is molded by extrusion (the content of Al 2 O 3 in the finished catalyst is 34 wt.%). The obtained catalyst granules are dried in air, then in an oven at 100-110 ° C for 3-4 hours, then calcined at 500 ° C for 4 hours. For the experiment, a fraction of 0.4-0.6 mm is used, for which extrudates are crushed. The magnesium content in the finished catalyst is 0.1 wt.%.
