Abstract
Description
The invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine, in particular to methods for specific prophylaxis of infectious diseases of animals.
- 2004. - С.219-220).A known method for the prevention of infectious acute intestinal diseases of newborn puppies of fur animals, including the creation of colostral immunity in them by double immunization with mono- or associated vaccines of females in the second half of pregnancy with an interval of 10-14 days, in doses according to instructions (Shevyrev N. Двукратная иммунизация самок за 2-3 недели до гона способствует повышению иммунореактивности матерей против циркулирующих в хозяйстве возбудителей и обеспечивает пассивное поступление материнских антител в организм новорожденных. Double immunization of females 2-3 weeks before the rut contributes to an increase in maternal immunoreactivity against pathogens circulating in the household and provides a passive supply of maternal antibodies to the body of newborns. With the existing technology for keeping animals, vaccination of females is more convenient to carry out. This does not affect pregnancy and the use of both inactivated and live vaccines is safe. However, by the time of whelping, the level of specific agglutinins in the blood of females is already gradually decreasing.
Т. Immunization of females in the second half of pregnancy is also aimed at increasing the immunoreactivity of mothers against pathogens circulating in the economy and provides a passive supply of maternal antibodies to the puppies. When vaccination is carried out close to childbirth, whelping occurs against a background of a higher antibody titer than when immunizing females at a time more remote from childbirth. However, with vaccination in the second half of pregnancy, there is a risk of injuring pregnant females, provoking abortions, giving birth to stillborn, weakened puppies and there is a limitation on the possibility of using live vaccines. Known methods can protect puppies from infection from the first hours after birth, while vaccination of puppies, taking into account the developmental biology and technology of keeping animals, is carried out no earlier than two months of age (Efanova L.I. Protective mechanisms of the body. Immunodiagnosis and immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases animals.Efanova L.I., Saiduldin E.T. - Voronezh: VGAU, 2004, - 391 p.).
In known methods, re-administration of antigen after 10-14 days occurs during the period of intensive production of antibodies from the first and causes the binding of IgG antigen, excretion from the body, without causing sufficient re-exposure to immunocompetent B cells and more intense production of antibodies. Therefore, re-introducing the vaccine into the productive phase of the immune response is less effective, which affects the immunological rearrangement of the mother and colostral immunity in newborn puppies - it is weak and short-lived. (Efanova LI. Protective mechanisms of the body. Immunodiagnosis and immunoprophylaxis of infectious animal diseases. Efanova LI, Saiduldin ET - Voronezh: VGAU, 2004, 391 pp.). And despite the additional costs associated with vaccination, the incidence of puppies remains high, and the safety is low.
The objective of the invention is to reduce the incidence and increase the safety of newborn puppies of fur animals in the conditions of trouble animal husbandry for acute intestinal diseases.
The technical result is an increase in female fur animals of immunoreactivity before childbirth and colostral immunity in puppies.
The technical result is achieved by the fact that in the first variant of the method for the specific prevention of acute intestinal diseases of newborn puppies of fur animals, which involves administering vaccines twice to females against pathogens circulating in the household, the latter is administered twice with an interval of 3 days, 14 and 10 days before the rut, respectively.
In the second variant of the method for the specific prophylaxis of acute intestinal diseases of newborn puppies of fur animals, which provides for a two-fold administration of vaccines against pathogens circulating in the household to the females in the second half of the pregnancy, the technical result is that the vaccine is administered twice with an interval of 3 days 30 and 26 days before delivery, respectively .
The essence of the first variant of the method is that in case of epizootics - the occurrence or threat of occurrence in the fur farm, acute intestinal diseases (OKZ) farm - of fur-bearing females, they are subjected to double immunization with vaccines from pathogens circulating in the farm at a dose of guidance. The first vaccination is carried out 14 days before the rut. Re-introduction of the vaccine is carried out 10 days before the rut - after 3 days in the inductive phase of the immune response to the first injection of antigen. In the blood serum, there are still practically no post-vaccination antibodies formed upon the first injection of the vaccine; therefore, the entire repeated dose of antigen is rationally used by immunocompetent cells to form intense and prolonged immunity. Goning in females begins already against the background of the formed immunity, which persists during pregnancy and is transmitted to puppies when puppy with colostrum.
The essence of the second variant of the method lies in the fact that with epizootics of acute intestinal diseases in a fur farm, a farm in the second half of pregnancy, born females of fur-bearing animals are subjected to double immunization with vaccines from pathogens circulating in the farm in doses. The first vaccination is carried out 30 days before whelping. Re-introduction of the vaccine is carried out 26 days before whelping - after 3 days in the inductive phase of the immune response. In the blood serum, there are still practically no post-vaccination antibodies formed upon the first injection of the vaccine, therefore, as in the first method, the entire repeated dose of antigen is rationally used by immunocompetent cells to form intense and prolonged immunity. After 10-14 days, the titers of specific agglutinins reach maximum levels, and by the time of whelping are still quite high. Wheezing in females occurs against a background of pronounced cellular and humoral immunity. Puppies from the first hours acquire passive immunity. In addition, 26 days before giving birth, the additional anxiety of pregnant females ceases, so the number of stressful situations that negatively affect the course of their pregnancy, and therefore the health of the puppies, is reduced by the dates close to the birth.
To implement the method, 5 groups of silver-black foxes of 10 animals each were formed according to the principle of analogues. Foxes of the 1st group (n = 10) were intact - they served as a control. Four (2, 3, 4, 5) groups were immunized twice with females associated inactivated against colibacteriosis, salmonellosis, Klebsiella and Proteus infection of young farm animals and fur animals (OKZ vaccine), subcutaneously in a dose 1 ml (Instruction for the use of the vaccine associated inactivated against colibacteriosis, salmonellosis, Klebsiella and Proteus infections of young farm animals and fur animals (OKZ vaccine). - Approved by the Department of Veterinary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Russian Federation on November 6, 1999 No. 13-4-2 / 1779) . Foxes of the 2nd and 3rd groups were vaccinated before rutting: of the 2nd group (n = 10) with an interval of 10 days, for 21 and 10 days; 3rd group (n = 10) - with an interval of 3 days, for 14 and 10 days. Foxes of the 4th and 5th groups were vaccinated in the second half of pregnancy: of the 4th group (n = 10) - with an interval of 10 days, 30 and 20 days before whelping; 5th group (n = 10) - with an interval of 3 days for 30 and 26 days before whelping.
The results were evaluated comprehensively by immunological indicators of serum and blood of females and by incidence, severity of the disease, and the safety of puppies. Tables 1-3 show research indicators.
Table 1 shows the immunological and hematological parameters in females before vaccination and 14 days after the second vaccination, vaccinated 21 and 10 days before the rut. Specific antibodies are shown to salmonella O - and H-antigens.
Table 2 shows the immunological and hematological parameters before vaccination and 14 days after the second vaccination in pregnant females vaccinated in the second half of pregnancy.
Table 3 shows the results of the course of pregnancy, whelping and preservation of young animals in the first 30 days with different vaccine regimens
Two-time, with an interval of 3 days, immunization of females of silver black-brown foxes against acute intestinal diseases provided better preservation of puppies in the first thirty days of life compared with double vaccination with an interval of 10 days both 3 weeks before rutting and in the second half of pregnancy. When the females were immunized twice (3 days apart) 2 weeks before the rut (group 3), the mortality rate with a fatal outcome decreased by 2.5 times, their safety increased by 15.5% compared with animals vaccinated with an interval of 10 days ( 2nd group). With double immunization of females in the second half of pregnancy for 30 and 26 days (group 5), the incidence of fatal outcomes decreased by 45%, the safety increased by 17.7% compared with animals of the 4th group, immunized 30 and 20 days before whelping.
The proposed method is tested in animal husbandry farms of the Voronezh region with a positive result. The epizootic situation has been improved in fur farms that are permanently dysfunctional for acute intestinal diseases.
